HA HA HA HA HA HA THEY ARE CLOSED!!! – Oh my God! (Turn head, roll eyes, slight intake of breath while laughing, turn back) I can't believe this dump finally closed!
That is sooooo funny! Isn't that funny? I am just cracking up! I am just laughing so hard. Where will you go now, "Denial"? Where will you go now? Boo-hoo little meth heads, boo-hoo! I wonder what it's like now, called "Studio". Is this a gay bar? Is that where morons from the Delhi Industrial Park on Mayhew go to party? You mean they never got our of Delhi? Awwwww, poor guys, why don't you go over to the "Main Entrance" and start a knife fight; that'll make ya feel better. :)
Laughing at you on the internet.
I smirk as we drive away.
Nothing you can do about it.
Awesome – I went to see Vampire Mooose and Damage 4 A Dime a few months ago. Other than Mooose not showing up, the experiance was great. The staff went out of their way to help me find out what stage the bands wee playing on. The ands on the main stage kinda sucked, but Death Broker and Damage 4 A Dime, two of the best bands in the area were awesome.
Pros: friendly staff, good bands, two stages
Cons : parking
BAD BAD BAD – A fund raising event was being held with 20 different bands playing. It was a huge mess and people all over the place not even knowing that there were people playing. There are two seperate stages and no one working there even made mention of this. When asking they were very rude and short. To top it off I was OVERCHARGED on my credit card. Luckily I have the reciept and plan to call when they are open and hopefully take care of it. So if you go prepare yourself!!! AND HOLD ONTO YOUR RECIEPTS!!!!!!
The most rude staff members out of anyway I have ever been! – My first time to the Blue Note was for the Bret Michaels afterparty and it was one of the most horrible experiences of my life when it should of been on of the best! The Blue Note is a hole in the wall bar, with RUDE staff, that act like they would rather stab you in the eye with a fork then answer a freakin' question,or even get you a drink at the bar! The whole situation was completely unorganized, no one knew which way was up or down in there! The band they had were pretty ok, but at times so loud that you couldnt hear anything but noise! In my opinion the Bret Michaels "meet and greet" after party was a complete false advertisement and a waste of money, if someone would have taken the time to set things up properly it would have been spectacular but instead it was a nightmare. I would not go back to the Blue Note if THEY paid ME, and I would never recommend it to anyone else, there are way to many other bars in Cincinnati that are better ran and more organized.
Eh..... – It's okay. Maybe it would be better if I could get my own drinks. There always seems to be a way to easily get drinks though. As for the band.. well it's been the SAME band everytime I've gone. I've always gone on Thursdays, bc I didn't wanna hang out with the grey hairs to much. I'm in college, but college kids are still annoying. It just sorta reminds me of high school, with loud music, and a smoky atmosphere. It's ok to go VERY occasionally if you have nothing else better to do.
Great for college kids only. – This place is great if your a college kid looking for cheap beer, top 40 music and a cover band but otherwise I do not suggest this bar. I have been on several occasions watching local original bands only to be disappointed with management. They have cut sets short, have made fans of the bands leave when college night starts at midnight on thursdays and I've seen members of the staff use inappropriate force. I know people who have tried to talk to the owner about compliants but he refuses to talk to them. As someone who has worked in the restaurant business for years this is unacceptable to me.
...um, yeah... – Boy, if you want an "old coots bar" that tried to boost it's sagging revenue from barely-employed West Side potheads by replacing the jukebox with a "stage", then HOO-BOY, is this the place for you! All the cheap Schlitz you can drink and free peanuts you can fish out of the overflowing ashtrays. "Prizoner" is long gone over to the East Side, but a nifty new band of losers called "Denial" will rock this tiny little world every night. Perfect name for a Delhi band- Don't think about the life you lost by storming out of Diamond Oaks, tires squealing, so you could prove yer mettle by displaying that buck knife sheath around this place and other splendid local DIVES. Like the Dog Haus, Main Entrance, Club Octane, etc... Maybe my goatee, shaved head, dirty "West Side Choppers" sweatshirt and rusty Honda Civic will get me lucky tonight... But, I doubt it.
Editorial Review – Dual-venue bar hosts live local bands six nights a week, plus DJ dance parties for the younger set.
very NOTEworthy – Great place for fun and great music. Warm and inviting ambiance. Relaxing and friendly.
BLUE NOTE ROCKS! – THE BLUE NOTE IS THE BEST PLACE TO BE. PRIZONER IS THE BEST BAND IN THE TRI-STATE. GREAT MUSIC. AND THE BAR PRICES ARE GREAT TOO!
