This is one of the best places and best apartment deals I have ever gotten. The heat and water are included in the rent, making it a really good deal without extra add expenses. People are in the office every day taking care of problems. Many of the employees live in the complex and really care about what goes on here.

They do not put up with problem tenants and or their children.

Recently I had a plumbing issue and it was fixed within the hour. It may snow tonight and I know from experience that the snow plow truck will be working thru the night.

The place is kept clean and the grounds are well kept. In the summer they hire local students to help take care of a variety of issues.

My neighbors have been good to me and helped watch out for me and my kids. I have become good friends with many of them.

Some people end up unhappy here but those are usually problem people!

The Honest To God Truth – I have lived here for over 3years now and when I first moved in I knew that this was not a top notch apt. complex but I rented anyway. Honestly the first 2 months of living here was the best experience out of the whole time I've been here. In my opinion the rent is WAY too high for what you get. There are 2 complexes on the grounds. East gate gardens and Magnolia Pointe with East gate being the cheaper priced apartments. They are the same as Magnolia but a little smaller.

As far as the complex goes people around here are rude, have a tendency to involve themselves in your business but that could be because they are elderly, bored and the complex is small (the everybody knows everybody kind of thing). The kids are very rude and there's a lot of bullying that goes on but you can pretty much run into that no matter where you go. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that they have no where to play. There is one small playground in the back of Magnolia and a big field in the front but from what i've heard the people in East gate Gardens yell at the kids for playing over there and the office likes to fine people $25.00 for doing the wrong thing like playing over there and making noise in your apt.(radio,tv) things like that.

The apartments themselves have a bedbug outbreak which a lot of places in Ohio do. The front doors of every apartment have about a 1/2inch gap in them so you have to put something under your door if you don't want your air or heat to escape. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything you side or upstairs neighbors do shower, fight, watch a movie whatever. The office controls the heat (radiator) so in the winter it takes forever for them to cut it on and it's either way to hot or way to cold however, they pay for it so that's a plus. Like I said the apt. are small and overpriced.

Maintenance is a guy and his son for both complexes so it takes a while if you don't have an emergency. The office staff have their favorites in the complex and you can tell but other than that they have an attitude of this is my job and since I don't live here not only am I better than you but I really don't care I'm just waiting for the day to be done however, on occasion if you can catch them on the right day they will work with you and on from time to time ACT like they care.

If you are going to rent here DO NOT rent in East gate Gardens they are smaller and the people over there have been there for a while so they act like they own the place and will yell at your kids and even try to ban people from walking over that way. There is a group of them that just sit there on any given day and try to run that side of the complex and if they don't like you they will make up stories about you and tell the office. I know because I have heard stories form 3different people who to my knowledge are truthful and have nothing to gain from telling a lie. All in all coming here should be your last choice and if you do decide to rent here word of advice try as best you can to keep to yourself it's like high school here. The ones who are in good with the office do what they want while the rest of us sit back and shake our heads and try to get out of here.

The statements above are totally true I'm not trying to make anyone not rent from here but if you are going to then you should have an honest opinion about the place so you can make your own decision and not take the advice of the office staff that get on here and write great reviews about the place.

This is Magnolia Pointe/East gate Gardens in a nutshell and if you don't believe me then rent a unit and in about a month you will be like dang that person was right while you sit back and shake your head.
