Honest, Fair Great Service – After our garage closed and after 13years in one place you are nervous about finding a new garage. We were blessed when we found this Tuffy. As a women you are used to being sold a bill of goods but not here they take the time to review your concerns
and to find out what is going on with your car. They always make sure to keep me updated on what they find and the cost is always reasonable and fair. They never try to cheat me because i don't know much about cars and the repairs are always done right the first time. The mechanics and owner Bob and manager Jeff are friendly while i wait and sometimes take me home and pick me up while they are fixing my car.

Thank You – I just want to say Thank you so much to the manager and employees at Tuffy. I was in Ohio visitng my grandparents when my car started acting up. My father is a mechanic, however he was not around and I had to find somewhere close. We do not have a Tuffy in KY, so I was a little leary, not knowing what kind of buisness this would be. I called my father and he said go ahead but call me becuase I want to speak to them personally. I went into the shop and the manager there said he would check it out and let me know. The service was fast and the manager there made me feel very comfortable. He told me my starter was bad, and I asked him if he would talk to my father and he said yes no problem. He spoke to my father and gave him the price and my father got back on the phone with me and said thats a great price and to let them do it. When I got back to Ky my father checked out the work, and said he couldnt of done it any better! (for my dad to say that, trust me was a big statement) So thank you Tuffy, you made my trip so much better knowing i wasn't ripped off and I was treated so kindly. I will be sending my Grandparents there from now on! Thanks again!!!!
You were a lifesaver – I have to say thank you so much to all the emp;oyees at Tuffy auto. I have never heard of a Tuffy until Friday. I was traveling from Tn with my two teenage children and my childrens two friends heaading to the Great wolfe lodge for openinig day at Kings Island. My car started shaking real bad and I didn't know what to do or where to go. I first took it to Meinke, they told me i needed a new transmissiom, I called my dad because they were talking thousands of dollars. He got on map search and we found Tuffy. The manager there Jeff said he would check it out for free, and that if I needed a ride to my destination for check in he would be more than happy to get us there. After only 15 minutes I was told i needed front brakes, pads and rotors and I would be on my way. I left there only out of pocket $361.00. Shame on Meinke for seeing I was a woman and out of town without a man with me and four teenage children that was desperate to get to the hotel after being in the car all day! I have never heard of a Tuffy until now, but to whomever reads this, I could not express my gratitude enough for the honesty and willingness to help that Jeff offered. I still have his card and you can bet next time we are in OH we will be stopping by for a check up. Thank you again, Sherri Souder
Thank you for such great service! – my parents have been going to tuffy for years and have not one time had a problem. The service manager has always been wonderfu and has gone out of his way to do whatever it took to get our cars fixed. He has also offered my mother a ride to the store to give her something to do. I will never take my car anywhere else other than tuffy, Thank you for the great years you have taken care of us.

than a retail parts store!
Over priced Auto Service!!! Go to Spradlin off I-275 instead!!! – I have a 1991 Acura Legend and a few weeks ago it begin to overheat. Now I've only gone to Tuffy for brake services or oil changes at most a couple times & I've always knew they were ripping me off deep down inside, lets just say its a woman's intuition & my service bill each time I picked my car up. Every time another problem costing twice as much would suddenly appear out of thin air. It seems if I can't get break every time I would go there, the guy the front counter, I think his name is Mark (Manager) tries to act as if he's helping you out & trying to get you affordable auto service when he's ripping you off!!!
Back to my car overheating, so I'm not sure what's the problem & I don't want to drive my car more than fifth teen minutes because that when the car starts to overheat. Tuffy is right up the street and something just told me that if I take my car up there to at least get a diagnostic, they're going to try and charge me some ridiculous price to fix my car. So against my better judgment, I drop my car off for them to take a look at my car & a few hours later I receive a call asking if I want them to repair the car & such. After what he said I decide it would be best to take my car elsewhere! He basically told me that I need a new radiator, gasket & t-stat (which I explained to him I had replace two days before but I still needed a new t-stat) and a list of a million other things that totaled out to be almost $3000!!! That's not it he also said that I might have engine damage from driving the car to Tuffy (by the way once it overheated once I stopped driving the car) so after $3000 that might not fix the problem but he assured me he would find the problem & fix it for an additional cost. To top it off when you?re already low, he offers me a low interest credit card to cover the repairs. Go 2 Spradlin!!! All they had to replace was my radiator cap, reservior hose and drain air from my cooling system, $94 bucks! Can't beat honest people!
