I couldn't believe the immaturity of the owner. Last night, I witnessed him making fun of 2 girls for being overweight to their faces. He was calling them names, dancing around like a 5 year bully. Then, when a guy tried to talk to the girls, the owner turned on that guy, tried to kick him out, and threatened to call the cops and report him for driving drunk. Really?? Is this how a bar owner should treat his customers?? I will NEVER go there again, and I will make sure none of my friends do either!!! It's a shame too, as the bartender and karaoke guy were great. And it is an even bigger shame when they have to apologize to the customers for the owners behavior.
Customer Service – I haven't been in here for a long time, but it sounds like it'
s a good place to stay away from! Sometimes the establishment "forgets" the reason they have a job is to serve the public. If you are not interested in serving the "public" it may be time to sell your business and work for someone who will put up with your less than acceptable social skills. Leave the jobs of serving the customers to someone who knows how to treat the people who are spending their money!!
Yelled at by owner – This place treats its patrons as if they were trash. My friend and I were verbally assaulted by the drunk owner. The place was completely empty and for the owner to yell and call names to the only paying customers is a real eye opener. I will NEVER go to this place again and will be telling all of my friends about my horrible experience. When looking into this place there are comments on other pages about how other people were treated. Obviously, this is not an isolated incident!! I've been to alot of places in my life and have never been treated this badly.
great place! – i know the owner fairly well and he's always been very outspoken. so unless you know him KNOW him, then you prolly shouldn't talk bad about him. he's ran a successful bar for over 2 years so he has to be doing something right. everytime i have been there i have had an awesome time so before you talk bad, give it (and him) another chance. don't judge people before you get to know them.
great place to hang out! – the only reason there are bad reviews is because the band ok 2 drive sucked! they're too ashamed to admit that they were trying to get free drinks. thats what trilor park trash does!! the owner is a great one! treats customers great, has great drink sales, hires great bands (except for ok to drive) they should be called "not ok to sing"!!!! and as for the smoking thing... the people who were smoking was the trailor park groupies! and a few of you should be drinking slim fast instead of beer!! (just some friendly advice)!! i will continue going there as long as that band wont be there!!!!
Horribly Unprofessional and Crappy – I have been to dives in my life. This place was the worst. As a friend of the band that was playing there, I was embarrassed that they were treated by someone in such a crappy manner. The owner was drunk, unprofessional and rude. How the hell do you drive up to your bar with an open container and pull a taser on someone who is defending his wife who you called a c*nt and a b!tch because she called you out on professionalism. The bartender could not admit that she messed up numerous tabs and then cried when we tried to fix them. I was a bit disappointed that the police were nt more helpful and just told the bad to go away. Well, thats what we were trying to do. However, when the drunk owner continues to verbally assualt the women and men who are helping, chaos ensues. It was crazy.
Also, the smoking was ridiculous. The "regulars" were rude and crappy towards the band and their fans. If you don't want to hear great music, then don't hire a great band. Keep playing your oldies on the jukebox and drinking your $1 Natty Lights and just go away.
What a JOKE – First off being a firm believer in Designated Drivers it was appalling to me that the owner would arrive and get out of his vehicle drinking a glass of beer. Then the band that played that night was a group of young men who played great music and it was enjoyed by everyone....until something that obviously happens frequently in this lounge happened to a couple of the people that were with the band.....Their credit card tab was very over charged and it was brought to the servers attention. which than began a turn of events that was unbelievable. A young lady apparently in company of one of the band members stated her opinion that the place was a rip off, in turn the owner instead of handing it professionally called this young lady a C*NT, which disturbed a young man in the band. The young man made no threats but verbally confronted the man in defense of this young lady. To that the man (owner) went into another room and came back out with a tazer and began to try to use it on this band member. The police were called. The band left...UNPAID.....and what was even more amazing to me is that nothing was done to this bar owner for first not only possessing a tazer, but trying to use it on this young man who appeared to be sober and was trying to talk in a reasonable manner to this man.....and Secondly....how does this place get away with smoking.....and I am not talking only cigarettes in this establishment? My thought is that this hole in the wall should be a juke box bar with a cash only pay as you go policy to protect the customers credit cards, and its group of Regular SMOKERS...Definitely not a place to have an enjoyable evening out.
Awful – This is by far the worst bar I have ever been to. Not only was the owner inebriated, the service was awful. When we first got there it was ok, other than the fact that it took the bartender about 20 minutes to pay you enough attention so that you could order a drink, they didn’t have draft beer, and it was really hot, though I think they were just too cheap to turn on the air conditioning. My boyfriend’s band was playing and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Then a few people were cashing out their tabs and notice they had been charged for drinks they didn’t have, about 20$ worth of drinks, and everything would have been ok if the bartenders would have just handled it in a professional way. I guess they were unable to add and took offense to being told that they had messed up, it kind of seemed like they were inbred or something. The drunken owner had to get his two cents in, and started calling people names, one of which was the singer’s wife, and he called her a b****. The singer got mad, which is acceptable given the situation, and pretty much told the owner to calm down, to which the owner ran behind the bar and pulled out a taser and pointed it at everyone and kept yelling “Just get the f*** out, take your stuff and leave.” The band had played for 3 hours and of course wanted to be compensated. The cops were called, and did what cops are good for, not much. The band ended up getting paid less than half of what they were owed. So unless you want a taser pointed at you or are a band that plays for free, I would stay the hell away from this place, it’s ridiculous and terrible.
