Well after being a customer for well over 20 yrs. I doubt I will buy anything from MB again, since they won't cover anything on the extra warranty I paid for or even the manufacture warranty as they don't cover everyday wear and tear on furniture so basicly you can buy furniture from them but don't use it because if it starts showing wear in under a year which is always does they won't cover that because they don't cover wear and tear so if you need furniture just to show people your in good shape but if you acutally use it then your out of luck. And don't buy the burn warranty because they won't cover that either even though you pay for them to cover it they will claim that is was abused so therefore, is not covered. When your disabled and spend probably 95% in a recliner you bought including sleeping in it, well then that is abuse and normal wear and tear so not covered. Not to mention the rudeness of the person on the phone telling you that it is stains when in fact it is because the fabric that is woren down and the cushioning is wear down from so much use but again not covered because that is normal wear and tear so if you want to just look at what you bought you shouldn't have a problem. I don't know about the rest of the world but I buy furniture to use not look at but they sure got there money from all the extra I paid on extra warranties that I might as well have just thrown that money away. I will find another store to buy from for the rest of my life and I will recurit anyone else to buy somewhere else also. Since they can't seem to honor their warranty on anything. No wonder they are so big it is from the people they have cheated over the years.

Furniture is ok. Service is terrible. As soon as I walked in the door the salesperson vultures swooped down on me. And in 2 minutes new salesperson latched on to me and I didn't have a chance to pick who I would like to work with. She was awful and I had no choice -

I didn't realize how inexperienced and untrained my salesperson was until she tried to order a custom pillow for me (took her 1-2 hours) and then placing the final order was a disaster. I had to keep walking away so I didn't make a scene - she was so incompetent I couldn't stand it. At least she had some sense to keep asking questions of any one she could grab as they passed by. Staff should be well trained before trying to help customers.

And that was the best part of my experience.

Delivery is an ongoing nightmare. I took of work today to accept delivery of my office furniture. Not until 8:15am this morning did I get a call saying that the only desk available in the warehouse is damaged. So now work today, no income and no furniture. Why couldn't they tell me that yesterday? Or 2 days ago? Instead I have to take another vacation day (which are very precious) to wait for delivery in 2 weeks. And again, I won't know till the day of delivery when they will decide to arrive or even if my furniture is available and not damaged. Who runs a business like this?

Can't Mathis Brothers at least tell me 2 days in advance if its going to be a morning or afternoon delivery? I schedule patients weeks / months in advance and work around their schedule. If I ran my medical practice the way Mathis Bros runs their store I would be out of business in a month.

Unacceptable. Incompetent. Untrained. I'm never going back

There was a small issue with a furniture piece and one of your sales manager, Mr. Steve Soltysiak handled the situation on a very professional manner. I was a little disappointing with the situation and had a sour taste but thanks to Mr. Soltysiak and the way he handled the situation I am still a very loyal buyer to Mathis Brothers. I know I may not be a gigantic buyer but we have purchased lots of furniture from you. Thank You!

There are so many things that I love about Mathis Brothers, like the amazing furniture selections, trusted long standing company, but the main reason is, I can come there and just look around!! As I come in a sales person greets me, ask a few questions, then it is Really Okay with them it I say "Im just looking" LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT!!! No pressure, I can just walk around and look, (YES!!), but if I need anything they are there ready to help in anyway!! No place is better or even comes close!! Keep up the fantastic, amazing, great work!!

The prices and the financing options are what keep me coming back. The sales staff are like jackals though. It's ridiculous trying to just shop without being stalked.

I have been a repeat customer for over 20 years. I love it when I come in and Bryon Fooley knows me by first name. I just replaced my living room furniture and he was nothing but nice.

It would have been helpful to me if the salesperson had discussed the warranty conditions for Lady Americana mattresses at the time I made the decision to purchase this mattress (i.e., explain what non-prorated limited warranty means, and under what conditions the warranty would not be honored.)Reading those conditions following the sale is not as instructive as for the customer and the salesperson to discuss those conditions in detail. I would still rate the salesperson as outstanding, but I would have appreciated having a more thorough understanding of the warranty.

Awful Experience! Can a customer not just look around without being followed by salespeople? They are like vultures and they try to rush you. Please just let me look for 5 minutes without a pushy salesperson looking over my shoulder. I went in today looking for a rug and recliner. My wife and I purchased a rug but we decided to leave after being relentlessly pursued by the salesman. Mathis Brothers is very much a high pressure sales environment. I’d rather deal with a used car salesman than walk back into Mathis Brothers.

Your store was very clean. The sales lady was excellent and very knowledgeable. I only shop in your store for future and recommend it highly to everyone.
