The furniture we got is great! But the service is absolutely horrible!!! My delivery time was to be set for 2-4 then they called and moved it to 6-8. At 805 they weren't there so I called. The customer service rep I talked to said "They are only 5 minutes late!!!" Well, no, they were acually 6 hours and 5 minutes late. I then told her to get a hold of the delivery person and cancel.. At 9:40PM, the delivery guy called and said he was on his way. Then, on top of that we didn't get our bill and I callled and the customer service rep I talked to said that it wasn't her fault. My parents had the same issue with them. I will NEVER use them again!
My bed didn't fit... – My husband and I bought a bed from these people and we took it home with us, cause it would have cost more to have it delivered than it was for the bed itself. We bought the bed on a Saturday evening. Get the bed home (our old bed was already gone, we gave it away) and go to put the bed together and the frame is the wrong size. We bought a queen bed and got a king frame. So now the foot board is is like 3 feet away from our bed. We didn't go back because it's an hour drive out of our way to get to the store...so now we are stuck with a bed that is too big. :o(
Factory Direct Furniture – I purchased furniture about 2000 dollars from factory direct last weekend. They were suppose to deliver the furniture on the following saturday, I was told that someone would call me from 8-11am to tell me my delivery time. About 12:45 i called because i had heard nothing. No one seemed to no what was going on.. the rest of the story is pretty much repetive i called they lied. So finally at 10:45pm i was told to call the delivery guy my self becuase the store was closing and he wouldnt answer his phone. So Sunday i asked to have my delivery fee taken off and you would have thought that i asked for my furniture for free. I returned the furniture, never made it to my house and will never buy from there again.
SCARY SOUNDING PLACE!!!! – I was seriously considering buying a mattress set from Factory Direct, but now after reading the horrible experiences these poor people wrote about, I think it's best to stay far away! I must say, however, I have bought a chest of drawers and night stand there with some problems, but we like the product.
Worse Customer Service EVER!!!!!!! – I bought a matching love seat & couch from Factory Direct which is owned by Mathis Brothers.Only one month goes by and guess what one of the seats breaks There are reclining seats on the ends of the couch. So we called Factory Direct and say we'll pick your couch up and have our people work on it. They said it should only take 1 to 1.5 weeks to fix and if they can't fix it we'll get you a new one. So here we are at week 3 and we are feed up. We go down to Factory direct in person to see if we can get a clear answer. Nope, we get the same old song and dance. They say they have a lot of furniture and their repair person is not there so they have no idea where he is at as far as repairs. OK give me a break.. that store only has ONE repair guy???? and then to tell me he doesn't keep some kind of log as to which piece of furniture is next to be repaired.. What is he aimlessly wondering around in his shop just picking whatever one he wants to fix? So we get a hold of the sales rep who sold us the couches in the first place. He goes and talks to the "Sales Manager" and he can't tell us anything more about our couches, so we start asking for a rebate or discount or something because this experience has became so ridiculous.. but no he can't do that ... So here I am going off about Mathis Brother and Factory Direct.. I would not buy furniture from them ever again.. but there is one problem they have a huge Monopoly on the furniture business in OKLAHOMA so where else can I go and buy furniture for such a low price.. Trust me I spent practically my whole Saturday going to other furniture stores and either they we way to expensive or did not have what we wanted because they only carried a couple of things. So if any one has any advised on Mathis Brothers or Factory Direct and how to get my problem solved.. or has had a bad experience as well let me know. And if you know of some furniture store to buy a nice dinning room set at please let me know. Thanks
Salesmen Liars! NOT EVEN DESERVE A STAR! – We went to Factory direct after Mathis Brothers didn't have the sectional sofe we wanted. Lucky, Fatory direct had it in stock so they asked us to put 100.00 down for them to hold it untill the following week since we didn't have the cash then. Went back in less than a week to pay off the sofa and we had scheduled the delivery for two days after. The day before the delivery, someone named Jeff, called us saying that the sofe WAS NOT IN STOCK!! We immediatly told them to cancel our order and we would go in for a refund. We get to the store and one of the managers, Robert, told us that "even if the system shows the item in stock, it doesn't mean is in stock," WHAT THE HECK! So their inventory is not accurate! The sales person was, according to this "manager" new, and he didn't know how to check the inventoy. Well, Jeremy, did check with another "supervisor" and he confirmed that the item was in stock. We were promised that we were gonna get our money back with 5 days, it has been 5 days and nothing, our crime WAS TO PAY CASH!! This store is patethic, from sales person, to rude cashiers who chew gum while talking to the customers, to the arrogant managers! WILL NEVER GO BACK BECAUSE OF LIARS LIKE THESE SALESMEN! At the end it was for the better, we got an AWESOME sofa @ another store. Don't buy anything from these LIARS! THEY DO NOT EVEN DESERVE A STAR!!
I am not going to type a really long story saying my experience with Factory Direct Furniture. All I am going to say is what they did was illegal. We complained for what they did and they did not satisfy us with what they were going to give us in return of everything they did to us. We wish not to go back to Factory Direct Furniture and we wish that you wouldn't either. All they are is a big waste of money, time, and space. All they care about is money. DO NOT GO TO FACTORY DIRECT FURNITURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My rating above is not true. One star is WAY to many.
Poor customer service – We bought 2 bedroom sets costing over $3000. Salesmen were misleading as to what was included with the bedroom sets, in fact they lied about it as we asked them specifically about it before purchasing sets and both the salesman and his superviser said it was included. Then merchandise was delivered with missing parts. They called to tell us about delivery time but did not inform us of the missing parts even though they had 3 phone numbers to reach us at. We had to accept it and wait until they get the parts to finish assembling our purchase; or we will have to pay 10% plus delivery costs for them to take it back. Be VERY careful when purchasing anything from them as they do not believe in timely, honest customer service or in making things right with the customer. Money seems to be only thing they are concerned about as they got you coming and going.
