Wonderful People and Cars I Can Afford – In about April of 2008 my wonderful wife and I went looking for a car or two. One for Joyce (my wife) and maybe one for Julie (my 22-year-old daughter).
We were met by a great guy named John Brown who helped us find a NEW 2008 HHR for my wiffe and a used Trailblazer for Julie.
We were treated with courtesy, good humor, and respect by a group of people who not only wanted to sell us something, but wanted to help us be happy about it.
As is usual, the worst part of the whole time is having to sit through the add-on sales pitches in the Finance Office.
We loved our experience so much that when I went car shopping in May 2009, I went back to City. John was able to help me find an HHR of my own.
Randy and the guys in the service department have kept me happy too.

Mike Brody & City Chevy ROCKS – City Chevrolet, the best customer service center in Oklahoma City, Mike Brody and his team at City Chevrolet went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied,i bought the truck at City Chevrolet and after the warranty was out i had some service issues, i talked with Mike Brody and he got personally involved to ensure that i was taken care of. i have never had the General Manager take care of any issues for me before at any other dealership, Mike Brody's office is always open and he treated us just like family. City Chevrolet is the best dealership in Oklahoma City.......
Best dealership in Oklahoma City – Mike Brody at City Chevrolet, i have been buying trucks at city chevrolet for the last 15 years, mike has always been upfront and honest with every truck deal, you must understand that i do not believe that mike brody or city chevrolet would ever act in a way that was not appropriate as they have always been professional, i would encourage any one that is looking for the right car deal to go see all my friends at city chevrolet.....mike started with this dealership in the service department and has worked his way up to the general manager position, my family and i trust that city chevrolet and mike brody will always be there for us!!!!
THIS IS THE WORSE PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN IN MY LIFE – I wanted a NEWER CAR so I was online looking & found a 2003 Chevy Impala 8,988 I called the dealership & asked if I could look at this car the sales man said "sure come on up" so I went up & feel in love w/the car. The next day I took my husband up, my husband said you want this car? I said "YES" we gave the sales man $4,000 down he said "finance is not in today so if you will sign the wrap around coverage we can let you drive the car off the lot tonight then finance will talk with the both of you Monday" neither 1 of us have ever bought a car off a lot so I didn't know what to look for. BIG MISTAKE We went with another guy in the back office he put this wrap around coverage broacher in front of me & put this paper in front of my husband I thought it was the wrap around coverage hahahaha WRONG, We go home & my parents ask where my paper work is I said "FINANCE WILL TALK WITH US MONDAY" DAD SAID" YOU CAN NOT LEAVE W/OUT UR PAPER WORK, I found out they were trying to charge my husband for 12,988 on that car at 21% interest the more u put down the lower you're interest is suppose to be, My husband & I went back up to talk w/Mike Brody he was cussing me out "asked if my husband spoke English? because I was not on the deal to shut the F*** up" I told Brody I was gonna "bring his car back & drive it right threw the big window in the front of the place" Mike Brody said he was "the owner of the place & could charge what ever he wanted to charge". he said the car was 8,988 but the finance comp was charging us to start up my husbands credit, I explained "u don't pay for credit u get approved or denied" so I called the finance comp the next day he pulled the car up off the site online, canceled the contract, I got a hold of an attorney, went & got the rest of the 5,000 from my bank the attorney went & told Mike Brody you take the 5,000make this a cash deal or I will see u in court for a bait & switch deal Mike Brody took the money & I got my car.THIS PLACE IS A JOKE
If you like to be harrassed shop here – Let me just tell you my expirence with this company. In march 06 I started looking at cars online. I didn't ask anyone to contact me about anything but I was anyway. Nat called me and said I see you inquired about a car online. I was confused at why the website had given my personal information out like that, but I was interested to see if I could get a loan. Suposedly they were able to get me approved for a certin amount. I wasn't ready to purchase at that time because I only had 2 more car payments on my car. Instead of saying we're interested in your business, give us a call when your ready, they called me everyday almost for 2 months. Finally I decided to go in and have a look. I was adimate that I did not have a cosigner, only 500.00 to put down and the rest would have to come from my trade in. I also told them what range my car payments had to stay in. I also explained that I wanted this to be as stress free as possible. I brought all the information they asked for, and was prepaired to be in and be out. Yeah how wrong I was. I went through 4 hours of haggeling over price and payments. When I asked for my keys back so I could leave I was shown another car that would be "in my payment range". I drove it, liked it, and then was informed that the payments would be 25.00 over what my max was that I had set. So okay I got suckered into it.... the car had more miles then I originally wanted, but it appeared to have been kept up very well. Finally the paper work got signed and I drove off the lot. That was not the end of the hell.... I have been called everyday since then for one thing or another. Now I was told I needed 6 refernces when I came in. I explained that I did not have one of the addresses and that my sister lived with my parents. They said that was fine. Two weeks later I am still being harrassed to get them another name and the address of a co-worker who would rather not give out that information. They have her phone number and that should be enough. Today I lost it with the 3rd finance guy and decided that I am tired of doing business with a company that treats their customers like they are doing us a favor by selling a car.... No the truth is we are the consumer and their are plenty of businesses out their that would love to have our money that we work very hard for. Even us credit challenged ones. So City Chevrolet can take their car (that they didn't even bother to change to oil in before they sold it to me) and stick where it doesn't shine.
