I have had three Hondas and used to always go to Beaverton Honda until I discovered that Wilsonville Honda charges less and has a much more knowledgeable staff. I will only go to Beaverton Honda if necessary, I am tired of their lists of things I need to get done that usually amount to 1000.00 or close every time! I have spent so much money there over the years that I could have saved going elsewhere.
Very upset. Our Honda FIT now has 75K miles and so it is recently now past warranty. The engine light comes on, and now we find ourselves with a $1,000 repair bill (and they couldn't fix it the first time we brought it in, so we had to return it the next day). Why did we buy a Honda? Because of their reputation for quality. Obviously, that went out the window. Next time I'll buy Hyundai since they can guarantee their cars for 10 years, 100K miles.
Easy Buying Experience – Beaverton Honda went to work right away to make our buying experience quick and easy. They stayed open 2.5 hours past closing time for us and they offered us the most on our trade (by $2,000) than other dealers were willing to. Also, and most importantly, they met the price that we were willing to pay for our 2011 Honda Odyssey. The sales people were personable and outgoing, not stiff and secretive. The finance manager that we worked with was rock solid and went above and beyond to answer questions and provide information. Would definitely purchase there again and recommend others to do the same. You won't be disappointed.
Great Service Team service! – I've always had great service form Lanphere's Honda in Beaverton! Just had my 2000 CRV serviced and the team was terrific. My service tech, Johah, walked me through everything and made me feel very comfortable about the work that was done, and even made some suggestions for additional work that may be needed shortly. They even dropped me off at my work!
Amazing Leasing Experience – I just leased a new Honda from Bob Lanphere's, and I'm telling everyone I know about my great experience. Usually, car buying/leasing sends me into a panic attack, but my sales representative, Matt Garner made it painless. He called me to schedule a good time for me to stop by; then when I explained that my husband and I were looking for the most economical leasing option, he showed us several models and explained the leasing options for each. We ended up getting an amazing deal on a new Accord, and throughout the whole process, we never felt misled or duped. I've had absolutely maddening experiences at other dealerships, only to walk away feeling like the idiot of the century, but at Bob Lanphere's you actually feel like they want you to find what you're actually looking for. What an amazing sales philosophy! Matt Garner is fabulous, and so was everyone else I spoke with, including management and financing. I'm a Bob Lanphere's customer for good.
Service Center – Been having service on my CRV done at Beaverton Honda since moving from Florida in 2008.
The service staff is always professional and helpful, and the new service center is very nice and much better than the previous location.
I got screwed!!! – I took my honda 2 hp outboard engine in because there was just a little water coming out of the top exhaust port. at idle, and at higher power settings, there was no water coming out. Chad, told me that it needed a new impeller. After $198, Chad told me that there would be just a little water coming out at idle, and at a higher power setting, there would be no water coming out, and this was normal. In other words, there was nothing wrong with my engine, but instead of telling me this, Bob Lanpheres beverton honda chose to put in a part that was not needed. When I asked about it, Paul the service manager said I could bring it in and they would put in the old impeller but they would still charge me $90. In other words rather then tell me that there was nothing wrong with my engine, Bob Lanphere's Beverton Honda chose to take advantage of me and change out an impeller that was working perfectly, and put in a new one. DISHONEST !!!! If you use them, make sure you know what is really wrong with your equipment, The will not tell you the truth. The are all about money, and don't care who they hurt in the process!!!! Be careful when you deal with them and be suspisious of what they tell you. Get a second opinion!!!
Great Buying Experience – I test drove a couple cars over the weekend and settled on a 2007 CRV. The CRV was more than what I had expected and not something that I originally thought of purchasing. The salesman was great to work with and he was able to provide the information that helped in the decision for purchasing. The other staff members were as helpful and up front with the information that we needed to get the process done. The overall process did not seem to take long at all.
The waiting room was real comfortable and was able to watch some baseball game while waiting.
The CRV was our third purchase from Beaverton Honda. My wife is already planning on the next purchase in a few years.
Nice Service Center – Very nice facility, wireless and a couple of nice waiting rooms. The service was done quickly and exactly per my request.
