I have been going here for years and is one of the best places for great sushi at a very reasonable price. The service there is excellent and the food is always top notch. Many people I know have this particular place as their favorite.
Good cheap sushi!!! – I love this place! a friend of mine got me hooked, we would always go to the one in Clackamas before going out to the barn to ride, and i loved it but hated the drive! but i was thrilled to find out that they had one in beaverton, I come in probably once a week whether its for a quick lunch or dinner, there sushi is always fresh and good!! Im picky and don't like fish eggs, so i always ask them to make mine special without any fish eggs and they are always quick and friendly! I am so happy this place is here and as long as they keep up the awsome service and sushi i will keep coming back!!!
Great Sushi!! – They have many kinds of food for the person who loves to eat Japanese food. The appetizers include spring rolls, gyoza and mizo soup. Many people think mizo soup in Sushi Land is good because it can make you warm and tastes very good. The entrees include tempura, udon and sushi. Sushi is the best entree that you should to try. They have many kinds of sushi such as egg, saba, special house, salmon, seaweed and etc. For the dessert, that many people suggest red bean ice cream; however, they have many desserts such as green tea ice cream, mochi ice cream. Drinks in Sushi Land recommend hot tea kind of green tea that can make you must try.
The atmosphere in Sushi Land is very cozy, comfortable and friendly. You can go with your friends and choose the table that you want; if you want the private place, you can sit at the booth or if you want to enjoy other people you can sit at the bar. If you sit at the booth you can enjoy the meal with you friends and take your time to eat. That is the good thing when you go with your friends; however, don't go on weekends because they have many people, and you have to wait for the table a long time depending on the time that you go; If you go at the lunch time or dinner time, Sushi Land has many people on that time. Anyway, you should book the table before you go, and you can enjoy the good atmosphere in Sushi Land.
If you talk about the service in Sushi Land, they have good cooks and good waiters. All of them are working very hard and take care of their customers. We don?t wait a long time for food because the cooks cook very fast and they always prepare ingredients before they open the restaurant. The waiters are very friendly; when you talk with them, they make you feel like you talk with your friends.
Delicious Sushi!!! – There are about 40 kinds of sushi and other Japanese food such as miso soup, natto, and so on. People can use some sauces, such as sweet sauce, soy sauce, or spicy sauce for sushi. As the sushi is covered with the lid of transparent plastic, it?s sanitary. Despite good taste, prices are reasonable. I was happy about it. However, it doesn?t look fresh. In fact, I felt the sushi was a little dried. Waiters who can speak Japanese a little bit are so friendly and considerate, and several Japanese goods, as Japanese flags or paintings, are hung on the wall. The look is fancy and trendy. That's why, I really like the restaurant!!
Good, cheap, carosel type sushi! – Love sushiland! Sure the sushi may not be "top quality" but it's cheap and tastes great! Service may not always be great...sometimes it can take a while to get the attention of the sushi guys if you want something made that's not already on the carosel. The place definitely stays busy which is a great sign to me. Great place for quick, cheap sushi!
Horrible! Bad service, sushi not fresh! Sushiland Downtown and in Clackamas are great, so what happened here?! – I have eaten here twice. Unfortunately I gave them a second chance since I enjoy the sushi at the Downtown and Clackamas Sushilands. Both times it seemed like all the servers were highschoolers that didn't care to be there and didn't care about the customers. The sushi was dried out, looked like it had been out for a long time, so I ordered something fresh and it still was not very good. I go to the Sushiland in Clackamas all the time and love it. I don't know why Marinepolis Sushiland in Beaverton is so horrible. Must be the management.
Note to management: Go learn from Clackamas and Downtown Sushiland management!!!! Their service is good and their sushi is fresh and tastes good!!!
eh, it's ok... – I was excited the first time I went in, but some of the HOT things on the conveyor belt was ice cold and some of the COLD things were warm.
The whole time I was there, I saw the same things pass me on the conveyor belt for an hour. I couldn't help but wander how long that raw fish was going around and around. May not be the most sanitary food.
Service was less than satisfactory. It was hard to get someone's attention and to even get someone to check out. There always seems to be a wait too and sometimes a lengthy one.
It's ok for a quick fix for lunch or something.
It may be tasty, it may be good, but it failed health inspection 3 times! – I've been a fan of sushiland all the way back to the mid-90's. But in that past 2 years, have you noticed the management change? Have you noticed the average age of the staff? Have you noticed the speed of the service? Do you get seated with a smile? To top it all off... they failed health inspection 3 times!!! I'm sure it's corrected by now since KPTV aired... but the previous points haven't... sometimes there are 5-8 seats open and it'll take them 5 minutes to seat the next customers... hmm...
The KPTV clip is here: <kptv website>/video/10912846/index.html
Worst service ever – Went on a Sunday afternoon at 3 pm. Had to wait about 20 minutes. There were two girls that were working, kinda. They stood around, even when there were dishes to clear. They completely missed us on the reservation list and we had to point it out. They made no attempt to smile or clear part of the bar for us. One even sat down as she was clearing dishes. We had to ask for miso soup twice, as well as soy sauce trays. It was just a terrible atmosphere.
The sushi was not impressive, but at that price, I didn't expect it to be.
I will definitely not be returning.
WORST SUSHI PLACE – I WENT TO EAT HERE AND IT HAS BAD SERVICE!!! I HAD WAITED FOR THIS YOUNG MAN TO GET ME MY ORDER AND HE HAD TOTALLY FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT UNTIL I HAD TO REMIND HIM. THE SUSHI DOESN'T TASTE AS GREAT AS IT USED TO COUPLE YEARS AGO. I THINK THE CHANGE OF MANAGER WAS A HORRIBLE MISTAKE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING THERE. AGAIN, BAD SERVICE, NOT CLEAN, NASTY FOOD. I'M DONE EATING AT FAST FOOD SUSHI PLACES, SUSHI TOWN ISN'T ANY BETTER. I'M ALL FOR SUSHI RESTAUARANTS NOW. GOOD LUCK!!!!
