Roger did a fabulous job of making me feel comfortable in my purchase. He and Toyota of Gladstone worked with me to get me the monthly payment that worked best for me. I had the honor to be his first sale and will keep the tie as a reminder. I came in looking for a car for my specific needs and Roger had so much knowledge and helped me find a car that fit my needs. He was also very knowledgeable about the car I bought, showing me all the basics but also all the specifics for that car. He twice explained how everything worked so I would be comfortable. I noticed a problem with the hubcaps and he immediately worked out the problem so they could be replaced at no cost to me. I would definitely return to Roger at Toyota of Gladstone when I look for a car to purchase next time
I want to commend Rodell on his professionalism and service. I have bought many new cars in my life and have always...always...dreaded the negotiation process. Rodell and his manager Joe were pleasant and curteous throughout. Additionally, one of the things I hate most when buying a car is the high pressure sales pitch for 'under-coating', 'extended warrenty', etc. While on our test drive, I informed Rodell that I was interested in a car but would not be interested and did not want to hear the pitch for the extras. This is the first time...the FIRST TIME... that a salesman and his/her manager honored that request. THANK YOU GENTLEMEN. To whomever reads this, rest assured that I have never written one of these pieces, even though I am always asked to. This is the first time that buying a car was a relatively pleasant experience. One more thing, the guy who did my paperwork was definetly the fastest at filling out the forms. I think my last purchase (Honda) took an hour. This guy took about 10 minutes. Again, give Rondell kudos for a job well done.
After two months of looking at other dealers and private party sales, I stopped in Gladstone Toyota to test drive a 2010 Toyota Tundra that was offered used with the Toyota Certified Warranty. I met Rob B. that afternoon and we test drove the truck. He was the most knowledgeable Tundra salesperson I'd met so far, and told me he had attended the "Model Release" event in Texas when the new body style was released in 2007. He had also owned a Tundra so with his knowledge and my research we pretty much were on the same page. I already knew I wanted to buy a Tundra from my research. After the test drive we worked a few scenarios regarding price, things went well, but I was not sure this truck was the one for me. I went home and thought about it and visited 2 other Toyota dealerships for pricing etc. I then thought I would go with NEW truck - the first new vehicle I have ever purchased. I found 2 identical tundras on Gladstone Toyota's website and decided to go check them out. I headed back to Gladstone Toyota. The Floor Manager Joe C. remembered me and basically said, pick any truck on the lot, and its a deal. The numbers he showed me were much better than any other dealer and were in line with the "internet only" pricing that I had seen on some 'out of area dealers' During this visit I noticed that they had a TRD Rock Warrior edition truck on their lot, so I got pricing for this truck from Joe and Rob at that time too. I like to think about things so I headed home and ran some numbers. Friday I woke up and decided that I was going to buy the Rock Warrior Tundra. I showed up with a cashiers check and a pre-approved loan for the balance and went to test drive the Rock Warrior Tundra. Four miles later were were back at the showroom. Yes I sort of fell in love after the test drive. When we were working out the deal, everything went smooth. The pricing was printed out for me for me to review, not scribbled on a sheet of paper like other dealers. There were no surprises. The truck headed to the detail shop to get wiped down and it was then moved into the showroom. We headed back to Finance Dept next and went over the warranty and paperwork, and I presented my check and financing.
I came in to buy a new Tacoma and was greeted by Aaron he was very easy to work with. No pressure to buy he took me around and found me the Truck I was looking for. I told him I was on a budget and what I could afford to pay and he said he would work hard to get me into that Truck. So we ran the numbers and he actually came in under what I was expecting to pay. So I was very pleased with my new Tacoma and would highly recommend talking to Aaron if your in the market for a new vehcile. I have been to just about every dealership in the local area and these guys are by far the easiest dealer to do business with and I will be back again. Thanks again Aaron
Robert was our salesman. He was very friendly and helpful and we really liked working with him. We ended up having a little issue with the closer person, but the manager Zach quickly and kindly fixed the error. He was very concerned with making sure we were completely satisfied which was very nice.
Seth is friendly, knowledgeable, and truthful. He treated me with respect and kindness. His customer service is excellent.I would recommend him to my family and friends without hesitation. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and personable. They all seem to enjoy their jobs and are proud of their products and service. I had a really great experience, and I love my Scion iQ!!!!!!
I was referred to Gladstone by one of my coworkers, after reaching out to Dave Elder for a few Rav 4 for my mother he found the exact car we had been looking for and offered a very good price on the car. He referred me to Jeff Sr to take care of the deal and show my mom how to use the car. Jeff was very polite and took care of my mother and I felt comfortable with how it all went down. My mother called me after it was done and couldn't have been happier and couldn't say enough good things about how she was taken care of. Thank you Jeff and Dave.
Wow. I have gotten haircuts that took longer than buying a new truck at Gladstone Toyota. I wanted a four-wheel drive to replace my old 2WD Tacoma. Sou Chou showed me a couple of good used trucks (Toyota Certified, which is a major advantage and a comfort). I chose a manual shift, which can be hard to find, and he got my old truck appraised in a flash. I financed the new truck at a very favorable rate, and drove it home two hours later. I couldn't be more pleased . Sou got me some coffee, and by the time we had discussed the economy, he was handing me keys. Seth and David Ruppert came over and were very cordial, while Dave Elder did the appraisal. It was all one big family gathering. I would admit that I did not do much shopping around beforehand, because I don't enjoy being "sold" at every dealership in town. I looked at one used car lot, and was quoted a very attractive price...attractive until I researched the Internet and found the history of 42 incidents. Gladstone showed me the CarFax on my choice, and it was all scheduled maintenance. They also showed me their buy-in cost, their costs to bring it up to Toyota Certified, and their profit margin. The profit was so slim as to be nothing to negotiate over. I had always been told that there was 20% of the price to negotiate, but this was more like 4%. When a vehicle is Toyota Certified, it's as good as new and is warranteed for as long as I will probably be driving. Others say Gladstone's service is just as good as their sales, and I believe it.
