A+ Mexican family restaurant. Excellent real Central Mexican food (not Tex-Mex or Mexicali); fairly priced, served in plain but comfortable family-oriented surroundings, by a warm, informal, and welcoming staff. The tortillas are made fresh when ordered, as are the chips served before the meal arrives. Some of this reviewer's favorites there are the Chiles Rellenos (the cheese-stuffed are as good as I've had in the US), Chuletas (thinly cut pork chops, pan fried and served with a delicious sauce), and Camarones al Mojo de Ajo.

bueno. Having lived in Hillsboro for over a year now I have made La Flor a regular eating spot. the food and the atmosphere are both authentic. open for breakfast, lunch and dinner the prices are hard to beat. fresh food and good mexican beers.
