BEST SALON EVER!!!. I came in a week before my wedding with Cheetah spots (from a previous "stylist"), and with the help of the stylists at Dolce, made it to my wedding as beautiful as I could have ever hoped!

Have been going here ever since and would never think of going anywhere else! I absolutly love the AMAZING stylists.

I paid $700 to have to keep straightening my hair every day. I went in for a consultation for the Japanese Hair Straightening with LeResh, who quoted me $500 for my hair after looking at it. At the time I had it done she was the only person on the West Coast that performed the procedure, and her credentials were great. I did a bunch of research then finally made the appointment for it. Well, after 6 hours of sitting with LeResh who was extremely unpleasant and snobby, I was finished and she told me that if I didn't buy the products she recommended, the process would be undone. So I spent $100 on shampoo and conditioner, then she charged me $680 even though she had quoted me $500. Then of course I left a tip, and left. Even though I didn't get my hair wet or anything like that for 72 hours afterward, my hair was not straight and one side was straighter than the other. I kept having to flat iron my hair every single day after this, $900 later. I was SO disappointed. Dolce has a great reputation, but LeResh's poor customer service and failure to successfully straighten my hair could certain sour their reputation quickly.

Oh and by the way, I went elsewhere to have it done for $230, and the woman was AMAZING, hilarious, wonderful personality, and I haven't had to touch a flat iron since and it's been a year. Oh, and when I asked what products to buy, the woman said I wouldn't need any because the purpose of the Japanese Hair Straightening/Thermal Reconditioning Process is so you don't have to use products and still have perfectly straight, sleek hair that is free of frizzies. I recommend seeing JulieAnn, at Complete Designs on 47th and Sandy. The phone number is (503)282-0954.

Don't waste your time or fool yourself going to Dolce to see LeResh for the Japanese Hair Straightening, she'll take advantage of you like she did me.

Eric Nelson used to work at this salon!!!!. I finally found my hair-dresser, Eric Alan Nelson is the best! He used to work here and has since moved to Modish Salon Studio in the Pearl District. I really enjoyed coming here, however, will follow him anywhere!

I love Evona!. I am originally from the Midwest and I have had a heck of a time finding a stylist of equal calliber to my stylist back home. After two years of searching I have finally found Evona. I feel that personality is equally as important as skill when it comes to a hair stylist. Evona did a great job on my hair and I had a blast while she was doing it.

I want my hair back!!. I really think those reviews were done by the people who work there or by their friends and family. I won't mention her name but she did a terrible job on my hair. I want my hair back! She cut my hair and now I have a terrible layers. My bang is too short and un-even. It looks like someone amature cut her own hair. My hair is not symetric either; my right side is shorter than the other side. The layer looks un-natural. On top of that, she was going for a completely different look from what I told her. (perhaps her poor English skill made it even worse.) She spent a lot of time on me but I'm sorry, I won't come back. This is the worst hair cut I ever had!

Thank you Eric!. Big city feel, little city charm. Eric gave me the best cut and colour since moving here from London. He spent considerable time making suggestions and options. He is also owner of a haircare line and travels for fashion shows and hair. Alder, his co-worker, seemed very worth a try as well. This is the real deal! Thank you Eric, we will be back!!!!!! Dont move back to Hollywood!
