DISGUSTING – Is this place a joke?? 1. EWWWW. Of coarse thrifting can be dirty, but this place is way worse then the goodwill bins. So gross and mildewy you won't even want to bring anything home. 2. Overpriced. They were trying to sell an ugly old wal mart brand kids shirt from the 80's for $6.99!! Just an example. Everything was waaaay overpriced and nothing special enough to justify it. 3. The people that work there are RUDE. They seriously wouldn't let my 3 year use their restroom. Which I prob wouldn't want to step foot in it anyway, but, when a little child has to go... so we had to run into a bar, where she technically isn't allowed. The very nice bartender let us anyway and noted how nasty that place is.
Can you tell I had a bad experience?! I go to thrift stores all over Portland all the time. This one is not worth going into. Full of old broken smelly crap for too much money, which defeats the purpose of going to a thrift store. And if you're just looking for cool treasures, you won't find em here.
Greatest Hidden Secret – This place was a hidden secret that someone told me about, but wouldn't tell me where. So after a lot of research, I found it myself. The only way he would show me is if he took me- YUK! I live an hour away and it is worth the trip for me, I am always looking forward to going there!!!!!
So great deals and Some way too Expensive – They hang the Wedding dresses up so the dirty oil heater blows gunk on them. Some are really cool but seriously it costs$125 to $200 to have one cleaned. They never go on sale and they are way too expensive $200 for a used stained Wedding Dress? Even Goodwill has had NEW Wedding Dresses for $29 to $99.
A lot of the vintage is just gross double knit polyester. But recently had a cool coffin dress but honestly $98 you are a thrift store get with it. Slash the prices and move some inventory.
Best thrift store in oregon – I just bought a beautiful "dovetail" jointed dresser from this place. The owner is a joy to bargain with. I visit this store at least once a week and aways leave with a quality item.
Hidden Gem – This is by far the best thrift store I've found in Portland. They have everything! Furniture and lighting/electrics aren't the best, but the housewares and picture frames/nic-nacs, clothes and books are great. Prices are reasonable and they have really good sales! One Sat a month is 50% off. If you donate you get 30% off vouchers, one per bag you donate.
