WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – i swear that car toys have the worst customer service i have ever seen in my life. i went there one time looking for a phone but this lady that worked there kept on flirting with another guy that worked there. I waited about 10 minutes for them to help me then i just walked out the door. I swear never go to car toys. also all their stores look like dumps and everything is extremely overpriced. im talking like 50 to 100 dollars overpriced. the only phones that are on sale are all the junky one. i hate car toys take that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Buyer beware!!! – It's hard to describe the degree of my dissatisfaction with my experience at Car Toys, it was THAT bad. I highly recommend you read this review to save yourself a lot of grief.

I came to Car Toys with a brand new, one week old, VW GTI. So far they have broken 5 pieces of my car, and lost my factory tweeters. I've had to bring the car in twice just for repair work, and I've got at least one more to go. The last time I left Car Toys my rear seat was messed up, my aluminum trim was dented, and panels and pieces were literally falling off of my car (and that's after they've already had to replace previously broken parts). They now have parts on order to fix my damaged car, which means at least one more waisted Saturday for me.

So far they have installed, then replaced one sound processor and a pair of speakers, and the system still doesn't sound even as good as my cheap $150 home stereo. I'm now trying to get them to swap my speakers again, and they're going to charge me a $400 install fee, just to get my stereo sounding GOOD, and that's in addition to the extra $300 of install fees they've slipped in along the way, which is IN ADDITION to the hundreds of dollars of install fees they charged up front when i bought the stereo.

Aren't they supposed to leave the customer with a great sounding system without gouging them along the way? Isn't good sound supposed to be part of the service?

So far I've wasted 5 Saturdays (one time waiting until 1am) waiting for them to get the install right, and I've sunk $4,000 into the stereo (more than $1,000 of which are "install fees")

I've come away with a broken car and bad sound. And now I can't even get a refund, even after talking to managers.

So don't EVER go to Car Toys, and especially not this location!

P.S. Don't get suckered into their extremely expensive ($600 a pair) Focal speakers. They sound terrible and are extremely over-priced - but they sure push them hard!

Overpromised and under delivered – I recently had this shop attempt to install a quality amplifier and two high end subwoofers. They said the job would be done at 7 pm and it wasn't finished until after 8:30 pm. They charged $300 to construct the box to the factory specifications for the subs. The box turned out okay, but the finish was below my expectations. The subs worked for two days before the amplifier stopped working. I returned to the shop where they replaced a fuse and re-routed the power to the amp. The store manager refunded $100 for my troubles. After 90 minutes, they said it was working. It wasn't. Returned to the shop where they discovered the amp was now blown. Since I purchased the amp somewhere else, they wouldn't replace it. I returned a week later to speak to the manager again. I attempted to get a refund, since it was clear that the installers had caused the damage. He offered some alternatives, but none to my satisfaction and refused to refund the labor charges.

I took my vehicle to another shop where they determined the amplifier had been improperly installed. I am hoping to get it replaced from the shop I purchased it from, but because it was improperly installed, I may not get a replacement. I would not recommend Car Toys, nor will I ever do business with them again.
