Good, but not as good as other locations. I love Hot Lips. I've been a steady customer since about 1987. It's rare to run accross a business with everything going for it....support of local farmers, organic ingredients, AND great product. I've got to say, though....if you want Hot Lips at it's best, try the PSU location, or even better, the Pearl District spot. I haven't tried the east side locations, but I do know these two are way ahead of Raleigh Hills in the quality of their pies. I thought maybe it was the volume the downtown stores do vs. RH, but it's not just the slices, which probably do turn over faster at PSU or in the Pearl. Even the whole pies fresh out of the oven just aren't as skillfully made at RH. Not bad, but not the Hot Lips heaven on a slice I crave, either. Step it up, Raleigh Hills!
Great for kids!. I love the Hawthorn store! I take my 2 year old there and they will toss the dough in the air, heat his pizza to an appropriate temp, talk to us, and the veggie special on Sundays rock! The soda is perfect and the manager has given my husband a free pizza because of an abnormally long wait. We appreciate the casual atmosphere and the attention paid to our son. I highly recommend this for mommies and daddies that need a place with good food!
