I really like this place! The food is very good. Most of the people working there are friendly. Love Bill, Carla, Ruben, but there is a rude new blonde gal working there who spends more time on her cell phone than with customers.
Friendly People, Good food and drinks – I used to frequent this place years ago, but stopped going due to the rudeness of the staff. I recently went in there on a Tuesday for lunch, and was pleasently suprised by the service. The bartender (I think her name was Becca?) was really warm and welcoming. She talked with me and was very attentive, even though it was pretty busy. The food was great, and I will be back.
USE TO BE a great place! – We've gone here for years, but the place has really changed over the last couple years.
It used to be that you could get a good drink, and enjoy some tasty appetizers or a large meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner), all at a great price, all while visiting with friendly folks who made you feel at home! A bar that a lady could walk into and not feel uncomfortable.
The ownership changed and the place lost it's personal charm.
Then tne WORLD'S BEST BARTENDER, KIFFIN retired, and it's gone down hill fast! No more friendly charm, most of the regulars don't come in anymore, service is terrible and drinks are weak! Good news is that SOME of the food is still good.....if RUBEN is cooking!
Service couldn't be worse – My boyfriend and I stopped in on Friday night to check this place out. We found a table and waited for the waitress to arrive. What seemed like an hour later, she finally came by, took our drink order, and left before we could even ask for a menu. We never saw her again. My boyfriend even made a lap around the bar looking for her and she was no where to be seen. She also appeared to be the only server on the floor. Not smart for a Friday night. The bartender was busy text-messaging on his cell phone behind the bar and we got up and left. Management anyone?
Cheap food and drink – My friends and i have been frequenting this bar since we turned 21... at first we were the youngest people around, but more and more of our friends started catching on to the beauty of $6 pitchers of PBR, and a great menu of bar food. Tony (the night time bartender) hooks up his drinks stiff, and is fair in dealing with customers. it may not be high class, but it's a great place to meet up with friends, play pool, darts, shuffleboard, foos, or just watch the game on one of the many big screens there. live music every weekend as well!
