My Family and I love to eat at Red Robin. However, This location doesn't have nearly enough parking spots for how big the restaurant is. In fact, there neighbor is Denny's whom has parking and no need for it. There is a problem with all of the streets that surround this downtown location and the need to keep you children safe just trying to access the restaurant. My family and I became a victim of Sergeant's Towing whom was lurking in waiting to tow our car.
Trust me, it is better to go to a different location if you have kids ¦you will never get a parking space to eat there as the ratio of seats -vs- parking spots has Sergeants licking THERE CHOPS!!!
Awesome! – Love it! YUM! Great staff and the food is great.
Great menu for everyone – I love their bbq chickent wraps, but it is great because I can meet clients there and not have to worry about menu selection. There is something for everyone.
Colorful, chaotic restaurant promises loaded burgers and endless fries for kids and a fully stocked bar for their parents. – In Short
With a bright red color scheme, enormous booths and TVs galore (even in the bathrooms), this loud, lively spot aims to make families feel right at home. The creative menu offers 22 different burgers--from teriyaki-marinated Bansai with grilled pineapple to the 5 Alarm with pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, salsa and chipotle mayo. Soups, salads, and entrees of fajitas, fish and chips and Cajun-spiced shrimp round out the casual American menu.
Great food great service – This is why we love Red Robin. Food is great, happy to make changes to meet your needs, drinks are generously poured but not too strong, service is always wonderful. The staff is energetic and attentive, drink refills happen before you need them, and it's just a great experience Only challenge is parking but that's just part of living in the city and it is worth it for the food and service.
Good for what it is – Red Robin is your standard chain restaurant. I've been to this one a couple of times and the last visit was for lunch. It was so crowded! (It didn't help that a convention had just been let out.) It took awhile for us to get a table -- yet, sooner than I had expected. Wait-staff was nice, however, it took forever for us to get our food.
A Parking Nightmare – Everyone knows what Red Robin's food tastes like so we won't go there. The problem with this Red Robin is its lack of parking. This lot is small. Real small. In order to find out if there is an open spot you have to pull into it. There's never an open slot so now you have to back out onto MLK and hope for the best. If you're not hit by another motorist trying to get out now you get to start looking for a parking meter spot. You will drive past the Denny's next door several times, each time noticing the enormous, mostly empty parking lot that Denny's owns. So basically if you go to this particular Red Robin expect to pay for metered parking while a select few (probably employees) get to pack themselves into the closet space they offer.
Fun – I love this place. It's always great for a group of friends or family.
This was voted #4 and #9. How is that? I guess that means it's a 6.5.
The Best of the Lot – I usually recommend against national chain restaurants such as Red Robin or Applebys, there are tons of local brewpubs and restaurants to choose from.
As chain restaurants go this is the best of the lot of them. The food is good - great actually and you get alot of it, the servers are down to earth and friendly - even if that means you have to wait a bit longer - the trade off is worth it in my opinion. A bit noisy but fun atmosphere.
I do want to mention Tara, our server this Saturday last. She was wonderful, probably one of the best servers we've experienced in a national chain restaurant.
