Best in town – I looked all around town for a good tanning salon. From Tan Rio to Sun Blaze. Every tanning salon I went to wanted a membership fee along with the tanning cost! Who does that...!!! The only thing that Tan Rio has that Sun Blaze doesnt is...stuck up employees, spray on tanning, and a fancy building...other than that they have nothing. Sun blaze is the best place to go tanning in the Portland Area. I will recommend it to everyone! They have new beds...the rooms are not to hot and not to cold.
Screw the people that say Sun Blaze is to old and has crappy beds...if thats the case got to Tan Rio and throw your money away!!
CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP – I would HIGHLY recommend Sunblazed Tanning. The atmosphere is so friendly and there is NO pushy sales. They have BRAND NEW 10 MINUTE BEDS and they are soo comfy. The beds have a fan and a radio that has 10 different station options. The rooms are not uncomfortably hot either.. I LOVE SUNBLAZED TANNING!!!
Glad I found this salon – I've been tanning at Sunblaze Tanning for a couple months. I used to tan at the fancier tanning salones in the area and was turned onto sunblaze by a friend. I can't believe I tanned anywhere else in the past. The employees are so friendly and do not try to pressure me to buy this and that. Their prices are great and their tanning beds are awesome. They have a nice variety of brand new 10 minute tanning beds along with stand up tanning beds and a "mega bed". I highly recommend sunblaze tanning!
SUNBLAZE IS THE BEST!!!! – I was there and they have brand new high performance 10 minute beds instead of the older 20 minute, and no one tried to rip me off, or get me to sign up for some stupid EFT membership! They did not even raise the prices! If you are going anywhere else in Portland, then you are getting ripped off! They also have the best stand up beds, and THE best mega bed in Portland! I find lotions there for 1/2 of what other salons are selling them for. And if you ever get lucky enough to meet the owner Zack, he is awesome! YOU CAN TRUST HIM. It is also 420 friendy (:
I like it – I like sunblaze. I know Tan Rio and Sunsup and other places look nicer and expensive and thats what they are EXPENSIVE. And they want a credit card when you sign up. Sunblaze dosen't. I started going to Sunblaze and then thought I would try Tan Rio or Sunsup. Well Tan Rio had snooty bitches where if your not orange and a size two its just unexceptable. And the prices were over double sunblaze. Sunblaze does look a bit older but they're beds work just fine, and they are always nice when you come in.
FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD TANNING – I have been going here for the past 7 years, it's not the best beds but they have always kept me tan and there so much more affordable then other places. It a warm vibe when walk in....it's not a big corp. place it's just down home tanning, haha...i would recommend it to anybody but if you want all the glitz and glamor along with a higher price then go somewhere else, BUT if you want affordable and to just get the job done go to sunblaze!!!
Unsanitary & Old – Been there for the first time and boy where do i begin. Their beds are old..the whole place is old...the clients are supposed to clean the beds after usage....HELLO???!! what's up with that??.... they give the clients some window cleaner liquid to spray the beds with,.. the rooms are too warm, their small, lotion variety-expensive $18-$38 and they dont work good. Their cost 20 min/$4.00...I would recommend this place....FIND ANOTHER ONE
Why do people like this place? – I personally, cannot stand sunblaze. They use ancient uncomfortable beds, have tiny little fans that don't do anything to keep you cool, have pre set radio stations without headphones, so youre forced to listen to the awful country music coming from the next botth. its just crappy. the only thing theyve got going for them is the price, and i'd rather pay a little more, for a more professional salon. YUCK
