Amici's delicious East Coast style pizzas have been called, "The Best West of New York!" Thin, crispy crusts are topped with the highest quality ingredients to create an infinite number of flavor sensations. A range of fresh pastas, great salads and side dishes complete the menu. Amici's is the perfect place for a casual business lunch, family dinner, or late night snack. Amici's also offers food to takeout, and free delivery to your home or business daily.
We offer eleven Bay Area locations: San Mateo, San Francisco Lombard Street, San Rafael, Redwood Shores, Mountain View, Dublin, San Francisco Mission Bay (Across from AT&T Park), San Jose, Vacaville, Danville, and Cupertino.
Amici's Combo pizza, no olives but add roasted garlic, is my favorite pizza here, though I have many favorites here. All are wood fired, thin crust; vegan and gluten free available, too. Their cheese ravioli with pesto, or pesto and clams, is out of this world. Their pasta with eggplant is GREAT, but ask them to make sure it is super cooked through. Caesar salad dressing is outstanding, and you can buy extra for home use. Service at restaurant is very friendly and attentive. Cheesecake is excellent but tuxedo cake is sometimes dry. Delivery is very, very fast, but if you want (free) parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes, be sure to ask when you order!
Nice Pizza – Erica and I went to Amici's to meet with our long time favorite Colombian friend Camilo Garcia. It was a simple, cheap and fast meal that worked for everyone, especially Camilo since it is across the street from EA.
We ordered a large pizza to share for three, which was a perfect size and quantity. Our taste buds were undecided so we split the pizza half vegetarian and half pollo. Both types were very good and reminded Erica of a local version of CPK. The crust had a nice buttery flavor and the cheese was not a low budget filler. I enjoy eating in California because in most cases ingredients come from local producers and are seasonally fresh. This can be experienced even at a pizza shop. Amici's is a chain so next time you're looking for 'za in CA, Amici's is a good choice.

You can never go wrong with pizza! – Besides having thin crust pizza which is my favorite, here are the standouts for Amici's:
*vegan cheese- not that I want to order that, since I prefer real cheese, but for those days when I want to cut back on my dairy intake or pretend to be vegan, great option to have
*low carb crust- again, not that I want to cut back on carbs or the crust since I love my carbs, but if I ever feel like it, at least I know I have the option to order this way.
*unique and original pizzas- check out their menu, the options are so good, i think our group of 6 ordered 6 pizzas!
Yes I've tried the low carb, vegan cheese pizza, and it was pretty darn good. Not as good as the high carb, dairyful cheese pizza, but pretty good if you are on a diet or trying to be vegan.
I've also had their other pizzas and so far to date, there has been nothing I didn't like.
My favorite as of this minute is probably the clam pizza.
Hot fresh pizza and more – Our family enjoys Amici's on a regular basis. The staff is polite and efficient. The food arrives piping hot and is delicious. The salads are very good and big enough to share. it is a little expensive compared to other pizza though.
Great pizzas in the area – Went there with my coworkers on Friday and the pizzas are great. We had about 10 people so tried many different variety of pizzas, they are all very good. Nice clean pizzeria with great service. Highly recommended.
Rockin the Pizza World – I am a pizza expert. I've had them the world over and this is in the top 3. Crust is the perfect density of thick and thin. Great taste all by itself. They "dark bake" the pizzas in the now common wood fired oven, so this gets the crust real crisp and the toppings nicely browned. Many places have these super hot ovens and they cook the pizza so fast, the toppings and crust are not properly done. Another reason they're the best here is the pepperoni. They are small little thick cut spicy guys. They curl up with a puddle of grease and a crisp edge. I never said it was healthy! All the toppings are of equal high quality which all helps make this a winner. All of the food is decent, but dont waste your time. Do the pizza. You will be back...
Last in the list of edible pizza – This pizza is thinner than a quesadilla. I have eaten here severeal times for work events. Every pizza I have ever had here is overcooked, too thin, and way too greasy. There are so many better pizza places around town that I don't understand why this one is so popular but I wouldn't spend my own money here. The lights are so bright and the interior is too sterile feeling for me. Generic at best.
Best pizza around – We moved away from redwood shores but still make regular trips back for Amici's pizza! The 'greek isle' pizza is my favorite, it's a white pizza (no tomato sauce) with lots of cheese and vege toppings. The crust is perfect - thin, but still with a lightly puffy crust done in proper ovens. Surroundings are basic, but clean. Service is good. (One flaw - why do I have to give out my phone number when I'm ordering take-out in person?!? Hate that!)
Haven't found better pizza in the bay area.
Awful Pizza!!! There not much there! Grade: F – Amici's makes the worst pizza I've ever had! I've been to Amici's restaurants 3 times and had it several times in meetings.
Here's why I give them such a bad grade: the pizza is super thin (I know some of you like it that way), there is hardly any sauce, below average amount of cheese, and hardly any toppings. Could they skimp on the toppings any more? I doubt it. Some frozen pizzas are better than Amici's! For example: DiGiorno and Freschetta.
I recommend to stay away from this pizza unless you want to remain hungry. There is nothing to like about this pizza.
This popular East Coast style pizzeria features brick-oven baked, thin-crust pizza with a wide array of inventive toppings. – In Short
A popular destination for young professionals and East Coast transplants, this pizzeria is known for its brick-oven baked, New York style pizzas. To accentuate the thin, crispy yet chewy crusts, pizzas come with less sauce and cheese than typically found on pizzas in California. Toppings include traditional options, such as pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and tomatoes. A wide array of more inventive options are also available, including clams, garlic, bacon and lemon oil.
