Casual crustacean-inspired chain serves up diet-defying seafood dishes in a family-friendly environment. – In Short
Live lobsters wriggle in a tank inside this seafood emporium, where nautical-patterned booths and colorful, fish-shaped tables in the bar area add subdued touches of whimsy to the room's classy dark wood accents. The menu can be downright decadent, with starters of artichoke lobster dip, seafood fondue, and crab-stuffed mushrooms. Entrees feature lighter, grilled fare like mahi-mahi and North Atlantic sea scallops, along with signature lobster dishes, snow crab legs, and jumbo fried shrimp platters.

Very, very good cheese scones – A typical chain restaurant which we wouldn't have thought to try except someone gave us a gift card. They serve piping hot, out of the oven delicious cheddar scones which are limitless in a basket. The clam chowder is decent and the cesear salad wasn't bad. The fried calamari was served with fried strips of red bell pepper, was just "ok". We had a cajun catfish and oven-broiled sole which we wouldn't recommend. The entrees come with a salad or soup for an extra cost. Service was friendly but we could've used refills on our water glasses which didn't happen, but the sodas (free refills) were kept filled. We would've considered trying the lobster but it was pricey at $28 for a 1 and 1/4 lb crustacean.
