I had looked for years to find the right artist to do my work. Jimmy Singleton was the artist I finally settled on and I'm positive I've made the right choice. The man does amazing work and has an eye for detail that makes his work stand head and shoulders above others I have seen.
Jimmy at the Parlour (JIMMY!) made my birthday tattoo experience yesterday a great one. I made an appointment in advance, changed the time at some point during the week, and showed up a half hour late on accident. I wasn't flogged or anything... they were very understanding and worked me into the schedule. Thanks guys! I gave Jimmy some very rough sketches of what I wanted, and he worked it into something I immediately agreed to: a dark (OD green) circle with a green celtic trinity knot inside. Then, my Leo hook zodiac sign was intertwined into the knot in black. It looks amazing on my forearm! I love it. Jimmy chatted with us (me and my entrourage of husband and friend) the whole time and we found him to be a really friendly cat. He is an amazing artist and a very personable guy. Go see him! Thanks again Jimmy! -Leann McMahan of Springfield, OR.
It's the place to get your outward expression for the inner you. – "Lucky" was his name......... He designed and gave me my first tatoo. It is a design of a vine of hibiscus flowers colored with the vibrant colors of blues, purples and greens. The vine is connected by a 3/4 " tall by 1" wide frog. I described myself to lucky, explaining that i was a domestic engineer and a mother of four. Lucky went to work and came up with the perfect one for me. He knew exactly what i wanted and needed. The experience is one of my favorite ones. I learned some about his journey in life and he laughed and my momentary insanity. I am not sure if he still remembers me as this was about 8 years ago. But i remember him. I have recommended lucky and "The Tatoo Parlour" to many, including my own daughter who just turned 18. To lucky...good luck in your journeys. I hope to see you again someday.
great place – I've received several tattoos from there, and I will always go back to them, everyone that works there is super friendly. Super clean, and the only place I will go for a tattoo in Eugene. Onlys suggestion is to go in and make an appointment first.
Whoo! – Though I did have to wait a few extra hours because of a guy in front of me who ended up changing his mind about his tattoo, when I finally did hit the chair I was (and still am) very very pleased. The staff was helpful and very friendly, and it is very clean and well-lit. I would definitely return again. Plus - Student Discounts!!
