Excellent Burger! – I thought the food was as expected. Granted the two of us only had a bacon cheeseburger, chicken quesadilla, side salad and a cup of clam chowder... We went for the traditional bar food approach and left with full bellies and smiling faces. Everything was as we were hoping it to be (casual dining, filling food, fast service and yummy). The only "complaint" was that there were more peppers in the quesadilla than we anticipated. I felt the prices were reasonable and to be expected for this location. We ate in the bar but after peaking into the main restaurant area, I'm not sure that I'd be sending people here for prom dinners or for some serious fine dining. Thanks for the tasty dinner! We've had an excellent stay here at Eagle Crest.

We do not recommend this restaurant.

We arrived just before 5:30 PM for supper and were seated right away. The dining room was not busy. The first thing we noticed was the overly loud new age jazz music dominating the atmosphere. The dining room has windows with a nice view of a pond/fountain water feature outside, but the decor left us thinking 'cheap lounge' or 'IHOP'. Our service was prompt and courteous. We ordered the Fettucine Carbonara ($11) and the Steak & Shrimp ($24) meals, along with an appetizer. Our meals arrived and looked decent but we were quickly dissapointed. The Carbonara had way too much bacon, and I am a bacon person. The dish literally seemed to have an entire package of smokey bacon and the flavor dominated the meal, so much so that less than half of the meal was consumed. The pasta had a runny garlic sauce that had little flavor in relation to the bacon. Our other dish, steak and tiger prawns, arrived with a low-grade cut of meat that you could find at any grocery and prawns that were so heavily soaked in a butter sauce that they were barely edible. The vegetables 'du jour' lacked flavor, however the accompanying side salad was tasy and fresh. Overall, this was a poor dining experience because the food and atmosphere did not match the price we paid. If it were not for our sweet waitress we probably would have rated as a one-star meal.
