Not consistent. Have been there twice. First time, took my parents, on a recommendation from a friend. Owner/waiter is a little quirky (description of food takes wayyy too long, wine list is "in his head", etc), ambiance is horrid (it's a amazing what a can of paint would do). Food was excellent. Service was good, place was crowded (Fri nite)

Second time, brought husband. Was so excited to bring him somewhere he hadn't been before! And I had raved about it for weeks! It was us and one other table, again on a friday nite (during Lent, maybe that's why no so busy). Got great service to start. But once quirky owner took our order, we never saw him again. He hung out at the bar gabbing away with god knows who. He let the 16 yr old busboy take care of us. Had to ask for a refill on our beer 3x. Food was awful- I had the "special" of linguine with white clam sauce...came with watery RED sauce with overcooked clams. Husband's fish was overcooked and bland. No one every came to see "how is everything"...we simply took our check,paid and left. Never saw the owner again. We were horribly disappointed, and frankly quite mad that we paid that much for such a terrible meal.
