Do not move here!!! – I agree 100% with the last review written. The management is shockingly terrible. I have lived in many apt complexes but I have never seen such poor management. They are horrendously rude which leads me to tell people to stay away! Good luck trying to get to anything fixed and the appliances are older than I am. All of my blinds are in poor condition. Half don't open properly and all are yellow...I guess previous renters were smokers. The entire place was filthy when I moved in. There is one garbage dumpster which is constantly overflowing and is just plain disgusting. Besides that, rent is expensive and the bills are really super high. Very hard to keep apt warm--large heating bill. Plus you have to have custom cable for basic cable and another cable company for anything above that..its the most I've ever paid for cable or heat or rent. The upside is the location--it's close to everything. There is a tanning bed, exercise room and pool which is nice. And they do allow pets. I would probably put up with the costs if the management wasn't so bad. I can't wait until my lease is up.
Do not live here - not worth the money and trouble – The apartment was great, the sports facilities were convenient, and it was nice to live near a shopping area. However, I lived at Eagle Ridge for one year, and my overall experience has led me to declare that I will never live there again, and will caution everyone against it. Here are my reasons:
1. The management will mislead you if they can get more money because of it. A reminder was sent out with the deadline to renew your lease. I took this to mean the deadline to renew or decline your lease. It was my fault for taking them at face value and not checking my lease contract, but it was still upsetting. I had to stay an extra month, and pay the monthly rate ($890) instead of extending my lease by one month at the rate of $775. I was very upset with the extra expense in addition to all the normal moving expenses.
2. I am currently in a dispute to get my security deposit back. The lease contract states that if the apartment is clean, you will receive your deposit within 30 days. My inspection checked out, and after nearly two months I?m still trying to get them to send me my security deposit. They don?t return my phone calls, and come up with every possible excuse to not pay me. I am going to have to go there in person with my security deposit receipt in hand to get it back. The frustrating part is that while there are several consequences in place when a resident breaks the lease contract, there is no punishment for Eagle Ridge when they break their own contract, as in my case. So this review will have to serve.
These reasons lead me to conclude that the Eagle Ridge management does not care about their tenants at all, only about getting money from them. When I lived there, I was surprised with the constant announcements of receiving between $300 and $500 if you successfully recommended Eagle Ridge to someone else, but now I understand. The only way they can get a good recommendation is to bribe their current residents.
