Great casual place, fun crowd!. If you are looking for a fun place to go, this is it! One of the bartenders is a riot to watch (the older gentleman) as he makes drinks often times in unconventional ways....this very much adds even more entertainment value to an already great place to hear live music.

loud and smokey, but great!. No place like this for live music... a primanti sandwich and the Tony Janflone band are a Pittsburgh institution. Don't wear your best Sunday clothes in here!

Eat great Primanti's food while you listen to great live music. OHHH.....YES!! This is "where it's at!"

Come on Saturdays and hear the great Charles (Chizmo) Anderson sing like an angel! Buy one....or more, of his CDs. It WILL become the favorite in your collection! He refuses to leave "The Burgh" and go elsewhere where his fame would expand to international proportions. He is a local legend....as well as a musical blessing. Jeff Bell appears along with Chiz, and is a FINE guitarist/vocalist as well.

Tony Janflone, Jr. plays & sings on Sundays. This young man is a total performer! A great vocalist as well as a great guitarist. His backup band is extremely talented. To top it all off, the women absolutely LOVE him!

Come on down...."Git-R-Done!"

Blues licks and lip-smacking sandwiches have made this music joint a Pittsburgh institution.. The Scene
Regardless of how others may feel about the American musical idiom, this bar, with its patrons seated around the bartender in a big circle, not only supports the R&B scene, it puts the bands on a pedestal. Singers and instrumentalists at the Primanti brothers' house of music play in a place of reverence: on a balcony high above the audience.

The Food
Famous sandwiches, with French fries and cole slaw placed inside the sandwich, are the things to order. The hot sausage is an underrated jewel. But ultimately, as Shakespeare said, "music is the food of love," so play on. This cafe delivers the goods nightly--with weekly gigs from local legends like Bobby Wayne and Tony Janflone Jr.
