It gets a little "dark" in here – Lots of blacks go in here so watch your wallets! The bartenders are attentive for the most part, but the cook looks like a fat Burt from Burt and Ernie. You him hear spitting in the kitchen and only hope it's not on the food. He also smells like he sh it himself.

Great bar food at great prices – Great place. Everything seems like it is from scratch. The burgers are awesome, always fresh and cooked to order. Their ranch dressing is home made and is fabulous. Definitely give the steak salad a try - it comes loaded with seasoned thin sliced steak, lots of cheese and crispy fries.

A dive bar on the second floor. – The Scene
Appropriate that a '70s-era bar be named after the greatest decade of Pittsburgh sports. The Souper Bowl is what it is: A smokey, dark meeting place to grab an Iron before a game or concert. Its location across from the Chatham Center parking lot is perfect rendezvous point, but try another spot for a first-date pre-game drink.

The Food
Fried food starters and sandwiches are the specialty of the house. All meals are nicely priced with the most expensive item being chicken parm with a salad for $6.50. Wings are tossed in a tasty, not flaming hot, Buffalo sauce, and the burgers are pressed by hand, fresh. And yes, there are soups at the Souper Bowl: chicken noodle, chicken rice and a daily special. Salads are also popular.

Who's There?
During the day, workers from St. Francis hospital and students from Duquesne's bluff. Game night, it's black-'n'-gold to the walls.
