Quick Meal – Ok, the wife and I were in a rush to get to Bon Jovi concert and were staying at the Reniassance sprung across the street and thought quick hometown italian would be good...arrived walked in and sat downstrairs, sat there for apporx 15mins before self realizing no one was going to take our order.. the wife noticed people going upstairs, by the way the young ladies taking food upstairs passed us several times without saying a word, so because it did smell great my wife said let's go up and see if we were suppose to go up there. So we did and much to my surprise I did not realize they were a comedy club!? oh... WAIT....they aren't!! Drunken jackass at bar was screaming grab her ass, referring to the young lady working the bar... the other young lady came took our order and the food was EH? my wife liked her"s so 2 stars is all I could muster.... Rude patrons, rude service, mediocare food... all in all not a return customer made on that day.... the drunk guy did get cut off but was allowed to roam about until he felt like leaving......! Several large strapping young fellows working downstairs left a 100lb female to deal with a real jerk. Felt bad for the barmaid
dont eat here!!!! – I came over to Pitt for a game and ordered from Milano, it took them awhile to deliever pizza and it was kind of messed up, smashed... so another day I came over - my hotel was across the street - hoping I'd get food quicker but it was lunch time, so it took forever! when I leaned against the counter and watched them cooking I saw one cook dropped a wing on the floor and the put it in a box! after that!!!! and a manager, as I assumed, was very rude and screaming in the kitchen even if customers could hear him... I left that place to never come back.
Awesome pizza place in downtown Pittsburgh! – My friends and I always try to stop into Pizza Milano when downtown. We always sit on the second floor because it's away from the crowd and we like to play the jukebox. The pizza is tasty, service is friendly and the price is right!
great service better pizza – i go to pburgh every year for a steelers game or two from sacramento ca.milanos is by far the best pizza ive ever had(wish they had one out here!). ive been to the resturant and have had it delivered to my hotel.whether they are busy or slow its prompt and courteous service, and the pizza is awesome.if someone does have the opportunity to dine in their establishment the barmaids are beautiful and friendly.i hope amy will be there next year!!!!
DO NOT ORDER! – I ordered from here all the time for work. Then suddenly they started to be ridiculous. I had a problem- they gave me the run around like there's no tomorrow. The manager I was supposed to talk to - "oh he's not here today he will be here tomorrow" But he wasn't. Conveniently it's now 3 weeks after my order and I STILL have not been able to get it solved. I spoke to the manager twice and he was supposed to take care of it. I still haven't received anything. They are a rip off and just give you the run around. They screwed up, not me. I'll never order again!
ring ring...thank you – In the spring of 2004 my traveling companions and I dined at Cafe Milano. The pizza was superb and the iron city beer was cold. A slight young barmaid that went by the name Carol welcomed us with open arms. We were to rendevous the following afternoon. I never made it, I fear that young Carol has been lost forever.
Rude – Ordered while staying at a downtown Pittsburgh hotel. They got the order wrong and when i called to advise I was told, "Well the person who took the order didnt put it in right. This time we will replace it, but just to let ya know you may not have ordered it correctly." I would have thought a "We are sorry, a new one is on the way" would have been the correct response. Food i ordered the night before was very good. A shame that this one guy ruined a good restaraunt.
