How many jewelry stores are in the Clark Building? We counted over 25, but after visiting Goldstock there's little need to investigate further. In business since 1912, Goldstock is the oldest and largest jewelry store in the building, presenting an extraordinary selection of fine jewelry in every price range, from classic engagement and wedding rings to unique pieces, such as an elegant 18k butterfly pin with sparkling white and yellow diamond studded wings. "Where the best diamonds cost less" may be their motto, but the quality of their merchandise is what's exceptional.
May We Help You?
Their Web site mentions "warm and professional service," which is no exaggeration. A knowledgeable staff is helpful without pressuring customers in a comfortable atmosphere. There are two certified graduate gemologists onboard with staff members expert in various stones.
Unschooled in gemology? Begin your search on their Web site where diamonds are categorized by shape, color, clarity, size of karat and price. Sorting by price and clarity, we unearthed 488 gems under $500 to one pear-shaped beauty weighing 12.75 carats for over 1/2 million dollars. No wonder one staff member asserts "As far as selection and product, we're the largest superstore locally."
