Banner Coin Exchange is the best coin place around – Banner Coin Exchange is small on size, but big on experience, expertise and personality. Almost as soon as you walk in the door, Eddie Lowy, the proprietor, greets you like a friend.

If you are trying to sell jewelery, coins, paper money, etc., this is definitely the place to go. Eddie has alot of experience and he is very happy to share some pointers, too. There is no need to be shy, and even if you are, he will put you right at ease with his demeanor.

Within a few minutes, a tally was made on what I had to sell and he gave me a more than fair price for everything.

Forget the fly-by-night places that have giant glittery signs that say 'CASH4GOLD' they most likely do not have the kind of experience that you will need to get a fair price for everything. Go to Banner Coin Exchange and be prepared for quick, fair treatment. And be prepared to make a new friend in the process.

Great Place-Highly Recommended – What a great experience I had today! I stopped by Banner Coin Exchange to sell some gold jewelry I had from high school. I was treated wonderfully and received a lot more for the jewelry then I expected. If you have gold or coins to sell I HIGHLY recommend stopping by Banner Coin Exchange-you will be very happy you did.

A Great Experence - Highly Recommended!! – I recently inherited a coin collection that was originally my grandfather’s. The collection consisted of about 13 terribly unorganized boxes of coins. There must have been thousands of coins in total. I had no idea if there was anything of value in the collection, and was nervous about having someone value the coins – I needed to find someone I could trust and was very concerned about what to do.

One day my Aunt called me to tell me about Eddie Lowy from Banner Coin Exchange in downtown Pittsburgh. Eddie had come highly recommended to her, and she had had Eddie value share of my grandfather’s coin collection and sold him much of the collection. She said that Eddie had been very nice to work with and had given her a fair price for her coins. In fact, she had had a few of the coins valued by other dealers before meeting Eddie, and Eddie had offered her a significantly better price. Believing that my aunt is an excellent judge of character, I gave Eddie a call.

Eddie was very friendly on the phone and told me that he would be happy to help me value my collection and told me that he would consider buying anything that I was interested in selling. So, we made arrangements to meet at Eddie’s shop one Saturday morning.

Eddie was a pleasure to work with. He did a quick review of each box of coins before sending my wife and me on our way so that he could go through each box in detail. Eddie called me at the end of the day Saturday to make arrangements to meet him on Sunday morning to wrap things up. He said that he would be finished going through the coins by then. Eddie spent a lot of time on Saturday and Sunday valuing the coins. In fact, I’d say he went above and beyond the call of duty to get everything done so fast – there was a lot to go through. By Sunday morning, I had a check in my hand and was confident that I received fair value for the coins. As a bonus, my wife bought some silver jewelry from Eddie that was priced well below what she would have paid at a retail store – she was thrilled. Eddie even gave us a good price on some gold jewelry that we had to sell.

In addition, Eddie was a delight to work with and by the end of our meeting on Sunday, I was not only pleased to have sold my coins, but also felt that I had made a new friend. On the whole, my experience with Eddie at Banner Coins “far exceeded” expectations and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to value/sell/buy coins or jewelry.

Pittsburgh's #1 place to sell your GOLD – Oh my, I think I met a kindred spirit when I entered Eddie's store. He made me feel so comfortable in selling my old gold jewelry, and we talked like old friends. Come to find out, we both grew up in the Sunshine State of Florida. It was such an enjoyable experience, I will never go anyplace else to sell my things in the future. Eddie gave me top dollar for my gold and I was surprised at how much $$$ I left with.

If you want friendly service with good conversation and a smile, you can't go wrong with Eddie.

What Excellent Service! – I chose to go to Banner Coin Exchange based on reviews that I had read and let me say that I was certainly not disappointed! I was greeted warmly the moment I walked in even though another customer was being assisted. Eddie is such a friendly man who does his job well. I went in with some old jewelry that I no longer had any need for and walked out with a much bigger profit than I had ever anticipated. This is most definitely a 5 star business run by a 5 star gentleman. I highly recommend a visit to this establishment, as I know that I will certainly be going back. Thanks for a great experience!

I highly recommend this company! – I had transactions with Eddie (the owner) on several different occasions in the past. I found him to be fair, honest, and friendly.

I will definitely do business with him in the future.

Excellent dealer! – Don't send your gold, silver, platinum, or rare coins away to Cash4Gold or one of those other companies on the late-night commercials. You'll have to wait several weeks before you receive a check for less than half what your material is worth. After all, they have to pay for all those ads and commercials they run. Don't go to one of those hotel setups they advertise in the local papers to sell your valuables either. They pay about half what your items are worth.

Instead, go on down to Banner Coin exchange for fast service and sell your gold, silver, rare coins, jewelry, platinum, or watches to Eddie. He's a very honest and fair dealer and an all-around good guy to converse with. The store is tiny but friendly and in a safe part of town. Eddie, the store owner, will pay you for your items in cash. No waiting, no confusion, he buys it all and for the best prices you'll get from a dealer. Sure, you could probably list your items on eBay, but after you pay the listing fees, the paypal fees, shipping and insurance you won't end up with any more money. Plus, who has the time to list, answer questions and deal with deadbeat bidders? Just go down to Banner for 10 minutes and you'll walk out with cash for your valuables.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE – I highly recommend this store. My girlfriend and I had some coins to roll up and make a little extra money for our vacation. We took the coins to Parkdale Bank and they basically refused to take our coins w/o having a bank account there, even though they were already rolled.

So just as a whim we called around and went by the store not expecting much but just a standard exchange the coins at face value. The Gentleman informed us that they were worth much more than face and basically gave us almost twice what we would have gotten at the bank. He didn't have to do this, we would have never known the difference. His honesty and personality was way above and beyond what we could have ever dreamed of.

Thank you so much, I couldn't recommend this store more!!! 6 stars !
