Eaten with a careful combination of soup spoon and chopsticks, this pho is wholesome, zesty and mega cheap.. The Cuisine:
The basic soup comprises a big tangle of soft, pale white rice noodles immersed in a rich beef broth made from simmered shinbones. With each bowl of soup comes a plate of bean sprouts, basil leaves, lime wedges, and rounds of jalapeno to doctor the flavor.

Bites We Like:
The most accessible pho comes with slices of eye of round steak, but the gelatinous beef tendon, tripe or simple meatball soups are the bomb.

The Location
It's a big, nondescript box of a restaurant crowded with tons of tables. The restaurant is located in your average, run-down strip mall that also includes the excellent Chubby's Broiler burger joint.
