Wonderful Classic Italian. I found a restaurant on Rt 51 that was excellent, Napoli Da Valentino, 3600 Saw Mill Run Blvd, 412-884-4899. It is across the street from a Get-Go. We pulled up and thought oh geez' what did we get ourselves into because it looked like a painted over Howard Johnson's. Inside was 1970's Italian and plain. We were under impressed. I ordered an eggplant special that was made like lasagna with an inch of tasty ricotta and my friend had soft shell crabs dusted with almonds. Both were terrific. The appetizer of sauteed calamari was excellent. The salad was underwhelming, the wedding soup was in a rich stock with a great flavor and the tiramisu was outstanding. The whole meal was a great surprise to our taste buds and it was very reasonable.

Try it!!. This small family owned resturant is amazing. It is owned and run by a native italian family who cooks with their families recipes. They supply the customer with a great size meal, a pure italian atmosphere, great friendly serves, on top of the cleanest restaurant I've ever seen. It is my new favorite place to eat.
