best ny strip in the burgh – I have been eating at Mc knight Bravo for over 10 years.
Their ny strip is 14 oz. of heaven! I feel it is the best in the Burgh. Service is always wonderful. The cheese cake is great! They have call ahead and reservation seating too.
No parking, long wait w/ reservations, average food – Went on a Saturday evening for dinner, and got stuck driving around the lot with many others, looking for parking spots when there were none. Dropped wife off and ended up parking across the street, a 5 minute walk away.
Had reservations for 6:30. Showed up at 6:20, and did not get seated until 6:55. Unacceptable. Both my wife and I thought the food was OK, but nothing special and not worth the prices, which were a little inflated for a chain restaurant, nor the wait.
Editorial Review by Christy Buena – Locals flock for authentic Italian cuisine including pastas, seafood and meat entrees served in a family friendly setting.
Don't like change – I was very upset to find that they removed the zucchini from their menu. It was one of the best. Otherwise, the food is good. It gets pretty crowded so go early or late if possible on the weekends.
Great food – Have been eating here since first store opened 4 + years ago in NH....the food is wonderful....details like bread and oil, great salads and dressings make this place overall very very special...a small chain, but consistant in quality in all 4 stores in gtr Pgh....try the pork chops or the steak scamp on a splurge!!!!! And the best pasta marinara sauce around...and if you want just a pizza and/or a salad, that's ok too! Sharing is OK - off menu items ok - HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend - should be at the top of the list IMHO!!
the best in the 'burgh – excellent service, excellent food. a little bit pricey but the menu choices and the fantastic hospitality goes above and beyond your normal italian restaurant. you will NOT be disappointed. If this restaurant isn't the best around then why do people wait more than one hour to get in on any given night?? Try the fried calamari and veal chops!! the best anywhere.
