We bought a sectional couch and one of the legs can't screw in because it has a defect. We know someone that worked in the warehouse, and they told us about the employees using the couches to take smoke breaks, leaving them in the rain, then wrapping them in plastic and selling it!! They would drop things off the loading dock, which is 10 feet high, and dust it off then give it to a paying customer as new!! If you like something there, take the floor model, because you can't inspect your item before leaving! Then you will be approached by the guy that fixes the furniture. He will offer to cut out the middleman and repair it himself, give you his number and tell you not to tell the management! Seriously?

Unclaimed Freight Don't Take the Salesman at his Word – My Wife and I went to Unclaimed Freight to purchase a Sofa & Loveseat .Here is What are so-called honest Salesman won't tell you upfront (1) there is no warranty

(2) If you put a deposit down don't expect to get it back

(3) All Sales are Final. These folks have you sign paper work then stamp something else over top So before you sign anything look it over.Also look your stuff over good

I would recommend you do this before giving them the final payment I did because all sales are final if you give them your money I suspect if you fond something wrong it would be difficult to get it back. Our Set was Fine What I am Saying is Buyer Beware The prices are good,The Company Culture Deceitfull like the the other review said what ever it takes to get the sale being a liar is one of the criterias .So Sad!

DO NOT SHOP – I made the mistake of accepting a "sales" job at Unclaimed...It took about 3 weeks to find out that the owner could care less about anybody that walked through the doors (customers & employees). Not only were customers treated as second class citizens, the "management" encouraged the practice. "Lie if it takes to make the sale!!!"

Please, take my advice, spend another $200 to go somewhere else...at the least expect to be treated like you matter.

I have been in retail for over 20 years and if I don't have satisfied customers...I don't have a job.

Unclaimed Crooks – We just returned from a horrible trip to Unclaimed Freight in Lancaster, PA. What was suppose to be an exciting event for my daughter and her fiance', turned out to be a nightmare. When we arrived, we were suppose to pick up a couch and loveseat that my daughter had purchased, but it seemed that the salesperson made a mistake and there wasn't any available in the warehouse so they told them they would have to take the floor model. They did not want the floor model and asked for their money back. We were then told that we would have to pay a 10% restocking fee for something that was never taken out of the store. Needless to say we were livid. After threatening to contact our attorney, they said they would only charge a 5% restocking fee. Needless to say, we were finally refunded minus the 5%, but we are filing a civil suit against them.. They should be put out of business!! Take my advice, do not buy anything there!!

Worst Customer Service Ever – I see that they give an option of 5 stars for this 'company'. In my opinion, I would not even give them 1 star. I called the store for a price on a frame at 11;30 am. When I went to the store at 2:00 pm on the same day, the price went up $3 and according to their 'manager' Frank, there was nothing that could be done. The original price could not be honored and he was the one who gave it to me. I dealt with 4 'sales' people, only one of which was decent. Judging by the extremely rude manner in which they deal with their customers, I would doubt any of them would have ever been educated in what customer service truly means. When we pressed the issue about the price change, the reason given once again by Frank was that it was 'human error'. He sarcastically offered to give me the difference from his pocket after which he left the office without even doing that. The other option he and the 2 other 'sales' people gave was that I could purchase the merchandise elsewhere.

I would highly recommend that if you are looking for valuable merchandise and the cusomer service that usually accompanies it, then do not shop at Unclaimed Freight.
