For a birthday treat from my husband I had a facial and a pedicure at Meera, and holy cow! The best facial I have ever had. Seriously, if you've had facials at other places you have to try the Classic Facial at Meera. I was so completely relaxed after the facial it's a good thing I got to sit in the pedicure chair afterwards. The pedi with the paraffin was great too, I liked getting to pick my own scent for the lotions. My face and my feet are now glowing. The staff was wonderful, very attentive and professional, but warm and friendly. The facility is beautiful, one of the nicest I've seen. I will definitely be back and will ask for gift certificates to Meera for all upcoming holidays!
I moved away from the area a few years ago but, being a long time client of Meera, one of the first calls I make after booking a plane ticket home to visit is a call to schedule an appointment (or 3!!). The atmosphere is inviting, comfortable and relaxing. The staff is professional and, more importantly, FRIENDLY. I'm happy that, in the past few years, they have expanded their services to a more holistic approach. Meera isn't just about looking good, it's about total well-being. Thank you, Meera, for making my visits home so much more enjoyable! See you soon!
My husband and I run a seasonal business which is incredibly stressful. During some recent down time we had the opportunity to visit my sister and asked for her recommendation for a nearby day spa. She recommended Meera Salon & Day Spa, and we are so glad she did!
I phoned to schedule because we were trying to juggle a bunch of things: massages for my husband and I, pedicures for my sister and I. (Let me just interject here that I've been the person responsible for booking things like this for multiple friends' bridal showers/bachelorette parties and things have NEVER gone smoothly for me, something always gets goofed at the last minute. Even at a very high end NYC spa we got completely messed up and someone ended up missing out on something they wanted done).
Chris the receptionist was just so friendly and helpful. She didn't think she had enough massage therapists scheduled to do what we wanted on the day we requested, so she asked for my phone number so she could try to rearrange some things to get us the services we wanted. She called me back within an hour and was able to accommodate every service/time we had requested. I was truly impressed with her professionalism and her friendliness.
We arrived to Meera and just felt comfortable instantly, the entire atmosphere is soothing without being too "frou frou" so my husband felt at home as well. We loved the serve yourself beverage bar available in the waiting area, but ended up using it on the way out because as soon as we arrived our massage therapists were ready to whisk us away. I had a deep tissue massage and my husband did the serenity. We both loved them. Great therapists who really listened to your feedback and adjusted accordingly. Overall just really nice and relaxing, just what we needed.
My sister had arrived by the time we finished and she and I had side-by-side pedicures which were AWESOME! You just gotta love those massaging chairs. My husband was a bit squeamish about having his "toes done" as he put it, so he was just relaxing and reading a magazine while he waited for us. The owner of the salon, Joanie saw him waiting and asked if he'd like to try their ionic cleanse foot bath. She explained the benefits and how it worked and he decided to go for it...he enjoyed it so much! He got "degunked" as he put it, basically soaking your feet in warm water which is ionically charged and it helps pull toxins from the pores in your feet. At the end he was shown a chart which explained what the different colors in the water meant about what toxins had been removed. He really got a kick out of it and said it felt great, and I thought it was just so nice of Joanie to be sure he was at ease while there with us gals.
Overall we could not be happier with our experience and are just jealous that my sister gets to enjoy Meera's services so often because she lives close! We will be sure to make a visit here a part of every trip to the Lehigh Valley.
Meera has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. My mom and I had appointments to get Shellac manicures. My mom's was 3:45-4:30 and mine was 4-5. I already had Shellac on so I needed the longer appointment. When my mom got there, the receptionist gave my mom to the girl I was suppose to have for my appointment. My mom reiterated the fact that I would need the longer appointment due to the fact that I already had on Shellac but nothing happened. She also informed them that I was going away on vacation so I needed my nails done that day and that she would wait if she had to. I got there a little after 4 and the nail technician was extremely snippy saying, "I'll do what I can but I have an appointment at 4:30." She really made it seem like I did something wrong and was late. So she puts the Shellac wraps on my fingers with acetone and we wait. By 4:25, the Shellac is still on my nails so I get moved over to the person I was originally scheduled with. It turned out that the first girl never buffed the shine off my nails and it took no less than an hour to remove the Shellac! So this girl removes the Shellac and files 8 of my finger nails. By this time it is 5:10 and she has to go cut hair so they try and scramble to find someone to finish my manicure. The boss, "Joanie", sends the receptionist out to inform the nail technician that she cannot finish the manicure and that I would have to make another appointment and come back. First, I was appalled that they were discussing this in front of a customer. Second, I couldn't believe the boss wasn't doing all she could to correct this mistake that HER STAFF MADE! Third, this whole time I never knew of the mix up so I was made to feel like it was my fault and that I was inconveniencing everyone. No one was available to finish my manicure so I was made to wait 20 minutes while the first girl finished her 4:30 appointment. Finally, she was able to finish my manicure in which I apologized for all the trouble. It wasn't until then that I was informed the receptionist made a mistake and it had nothing to do with me! It was a horrible experience that I hope no one else has to go through. As I went to pay, the reception did not apologize for the inconvenience due to the mix up on her part. She was actually very rude and then attempted to charge me for a spa manicure instead of express! By this point the manicure should have been free!! 2 Â½ hours later, I finally left and vowed never to come back. The customer service was horrible but the actual service wasnâ??t tha great either! It took an hour to remove the Shellac from my nails and my momâ??s Shellac manicure started chipping after 3 days! We got it done at another place and it lasted 14 days for both of us. It would have lasted longer if not for nail growth. The staff of this company needs serious retraining. Don't waste your time or money! Go somewhere else!
Rory is the best! – Rory is a great hairstylist and one of the best in the vally and does a beautiful job doing me and my mom's hair. I got the brazillian hair straightening for my sister's wedding and WOW did it come out greater than expected!!
Great Spa! – I love the facility, it is calming and welcoming, and the staff was friendly.
I had a full hour couples massage, and that was the first time I had the couples experience. My partner had never had a massage before, and it was a safe way for us to do this together to help ease nervousness!
The newsletter I get electronically and the FaceBook updates help keep me informed without feeling like I am being hounded to buy something. They also offer alternative options that I have not seen at other spas, such as the ion foot bath and classes!
I cannot wait to go back there, and wish I lived closer, and next time I will get a full spa day, and get my hair cut and pedicure!
Great fun! – What a great time today at Meera's Salon and Day spa. While friends had a massage, I took the time to have a manicure and pedicure. How relaxing and refreshing! The nail stylist was very professional, yet personable. She took her time to do a thorough job and I was very pleased with the results. The french tip manicure looks great and my hands were so soft afterwards. The pedicure was very relaxing, I enjoyed a great cup a tea as it was being done! The scent of the month was very nice and I must admit, I really love Skin Candy lotions! I already have 2 of them and had to control myself not to buy another one today! Instead I opted to purchase a new product, a soy candle with a warm sugared cookie scent. Very nice.
My friends said they had a great massage and we are all looking forward to another girls' day out.

Great Experience – Did the day spa package. The massage was exceptional, the massage great but the pedicure was just so so. All in all a great experience with a wonderful staff.
Fantastic Spa! – Fantastic day spa! The atmosphere is very peaceful and the staff was experienced and professional at all times. I received a massage and pedicure that were the ultimate luxury. The massage therapist did not talk too much and didn't try to sell me anything. She took the time to understand how my massage preferences were to give me the best massage possible. I will be going back to her! The pedicure was beyond my expectations including a foot mask that left my skin really smooth and tingly. I heard the spa was under new management and can see the positive changes being made in such a short time.
Can't wait to return! – The salon is easy to get to and plenty of parking. The staff was professional and attentive. The technician was quiet and didn't chatter. The atmosphere was soothing and I would recommend it to anyone.
