"Golden Arches" – When we want to be fancy & splurge on our image we head to Yelena's Spa in Frisco. She was featured in ALLURE magazine with praise for her golden arches and that 's just what you get when Yelena waxes your eyebrows. It's pretty pricey for ladies used to 10$-20$ waxing but highly recommended when you're tryna be fancy. Also I don't recommend any brow wax under 10$ it may be a regret. Check out my other reviews for more affordable waxing.
Great Facial – I saw Melissa for my first facial at Yelena Spa last week and loved the whole expierince. I cannot say enough great things about this place! I am going to reccomend her to all of my friends!
customer service is soo poor – I just have to express how horrible the customer service is at this place.. beware and do not proceed to this salon. The receptionis is very rude. PLus they had me waiting for 15 min. My treatment did not start on time.
Yelena is AMAZING! – I was lucky enough to get Yelena for one of their signiture facials, and she was wonderful. My large brows were preserved and transformed into pure glamour. The facial was the most relaxin experience of my life, she has a great touch. I would recommend her to anyone!
A gentile touch and classic decor – I have been to many spas but Yelena's Spa was the most memorable. I first heard about her amazing eyebrow waxing from an add in Bazaar Magazine so I made an appointment for Yelena's Signature Facial which included eyebrow shaping ($135). Yelena's touch is gentile and relaxing, perfect for after work pampering. I loved my experience at Yelena's Spa!
good but way too much selling – I went in for a facial and felt bombarded by the "recommendations" for products. "You should use a facial cleanser with X ingredient for oily skin." Guess what? They sell a facial cleansere with X ingredient. So not subtle. The treatment was great but I won't go back unless I want to go shopping.
Excellent Facial – Just returned from San Franciso and had the Yelena Signature facial and my daughter had the Classic. They are very good, very knowledgeable and very professional. It is relaxing. We bought products there so it was rather pricey but the skill is there for sure. I saw the pedicure area when we walked in and wondered if I should have made ours there but we had already made an appointment elsewhere. Yelena tinted my eyebrows and I love them.
Everything is nice but .... – The massage is not good enough. I still felt tired after an hour of massage. But the staff and everyone is very nice and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
A day spa with European flair draws a Union Square crowd. – The Scene
Perched on the 11th floor of a nondescript office building, Yelena's airy reception area, with large windows and a taupe motif, provides picturesque views of downtown. Well-coiffed women share clever banter with their practioners while seated in the public treatment room. European and Russian accents abound, offering a cosmopolitan retreat for regulars and visitors from nearby hotels. In spite of the hobnobbing, the atmosphere is relaxed and polite--the receptionist might even be working at her desk barefoot. Four petite, private rooms are available for body treatments.
Russian-born owner Yelena specializes in facials, though the spa offers a large menu of treatments. Manicurists are polite, and buff nails with an incredible amount of precision. Massages are thorough and might be a bit intense for those with a low pain threshold. Never fear, the body workers are quick to decrease pressure when asked.
Massage, body treatments, facials, medi-spa treatments, hair removal, manicure/pedicure, makeup application.
Great eyebrows wax – Kindra did a great job on my eyebrows...great shape and painless. I also had the massage too, but I wasn't used to her heavier and stronger touch. This signature facial was listed to be 90 minutes, but this only lasted 65 minutes.
