Citysearch Editorial Review – Anh Hong is a delicious slap in the face for anyone who thinks that the Vietnamese culinary universe revolves around Pho. The restaurant doesn't serve the iconic soup, but dishes like shrimp and sugar cane and "Fantastic Korean BBQ Ribs," make up for it. The real reason to eat here, however, is the Seven Courses of Beef, which is about as self-explanatory as a prix fixe menu gets. For $18.95 diners get a parade of red meat, with dishes like beef fondue--tenderloin cooked at the table in a vinegar sauce--and beef wrapped in Hawaiian leaf. A koi tank towards the back is the decorative high point of the spacious restaurant, big enough to entertain large parties. Though it's located in a skuzzy part of the Tenderloin district, Anh Hong is a family-friendly establishment, and the clientele tends to be Asian, particularly Vietnamese, diners who are looking for good, authentic eating at an honest price.
Sf and Sm are not related. – San francisco has the real 7 courses of beef it is very good
