This place is all about big, fat, saucy rolls. If that's what you want, you can't go wrong.

Sushi rock! it does rock..for somebody who is not experienced in Japanese food,, like me,, I like the price, valet parking, and of course the Saki,, I brought my friend there (she is Japanese) and she was not so impressed.. I guess it is the affordable kind of place..

I have been eating here since they took over Boston Market back in the early to mid-90s. I've loved it ever since! I always get their rock box special, you get to choose from 3 different entrees, PLUS you get rice, soup AND salad! I give it 4 stars only because I haven't been to many sushi places to compare this place to, BUT I love the food and the very friendly staff!

They have real good mango rolls and unagi. I’m usually not for unagi but they make it good here! oh, Its kinda pricey but you'll forget about the bill after they give you ice cream on the house! That’s me at least..

The oysters are very very good and fresh! But you have to pre-order it sometimes.

I went to two separate locations and must say I thought both were great! They had great music at the Polk location(@night) and the service at the Geary location was great for lunch. The food was great at both locations and not expensive!

If you're hungry and don't know where to go - Sushi Rock is the place for you. Upon arrival you get seaweed/cucumber salad and miso soup on the house. After you're done with your meal - complimentary sorbet. They have a happy hour with 1/2 off appetizers and drinks, parking validation and pretty quick and friendly staff. Try Way roll and Day & Night roll, sashimi is also good. On occasion they'll have a dirty menu, large party or music that's too loud - get over it ! Prices are reasonable, but if you want to save some $ - get a coupon for 15% off from Yellow Pages or the back of your Safeway receipt.

This is a cool place !! For the food I have to say so so ,not as good as many Japanese restaurants, but the service was pretty good , friendly and fast ! they play good music too , if you like to party with friends then go there try their happy hour specials and late night specials and enjoy the music !!

Went there after a workout. I’m not a good name on sushi but the waitress was friendly and helped me choose what I wanted. In fact I spend 75$ on sushi but it was so good. A great place to go on polk and that’s why it’s always crowded
