Flies on dessert.
Outdoor dining not very appealing with flies on the dessert. They could put up a mesh and velcro cover over the dessert table.
Mole sauce was so-so, not spicy, not chocolatey. Vegetables had been cooked in spoiled water. Vegetables were fresh, but had a tainted, spoiled taste. Thai food was good. Portion size was OK.
A Small Lunch.
I always recomend this restaurant when I take guests out in New Hope because of it's ambiance. I just LOVE the brie with fresh berries. It is to die for. They also offer Mexican and traditional American food.
The portions are VERY small for the price, so it is not a great value. If you are looking for a light lunch and a pretty patio overlooking the canal with strings of white lights hung from the trees, this restaurant is perfect.
Bad, Sad Food. A charming atmosphere and scenic river view are not enough to overcome the horrendous food at this small new hope eatery. the cheese "fondue" appetizer was a small bowl of microwaved velveeta and a very small array of semi-crisp vegetables; the veggie lasagne dinner was pasty, and the vegetables indiscernible; and the Kielbasa dinner saw two links of worn out kielbasa and clump of mashed potatoes, looking sad and tired, thrown on a plate - presentation does not even enter the vocabulary here. an added bonus for your dollars....the portions were ridiculously small. i would be embarrassed to serve this food at home, much less at a restaurant in a quaint and popular town.
