Cheating – At approximately 12:45 am on 3/24/2012, I was playing Wheel of Fortune slot machine. After I had put in about $1,500, the machine froze up. An attendant came over and opened the machine to fix it, and after three failed attempts of trying to force the money down and start the machine back up to resume my play, I was told that there was too much money in the box. I still had money in the machine, so after printing my voucher I asked for a senior manager, and was refused. I requested to speak with a gaming official, and was refused again. After I finished playing I went to get a Gaming Official on my own and filed a formal complaint. While I was filing the complaint, Senior managers and an attendant went to the machine that was too full with money, and changed the money box out, and reset the machine. I feel that this was unfair and I should have been brought a Gaming Official when I requested one. I feel I was disrespected and cheated after all the money I spend at your establishment. I am retaining legal counsel in this matter.
DJ Maria – I really like club 360. Execpt for Maria. I think she is ugly and needs to be replaced. You really need to put that blonde bar tender in Maria's place or someone like that. Maria seems really impersonable and isnt really hot.
360 use to be packed when it first opened, now adays it is dead. Since this is a casino I would suggest losing the cover and stoping Maria for a month and watch how fast it starts to get packed.
Me and my girls always have a great time at the club 360, except when the DJ Maria jumps all over my husband and makes me feel like an idiot around my friends. I think she is very pretty and great entertainer, but she should entertain the public instead the employers.
Parx Casino – I have been to every casino in Atlantic City, many strip casinos in Las Vegas, casinos in southern Calif., Lake Tahoe and all the new ones in the Philadelphia area.
In PA, Parx comes the closest to feeling like a Las Vegas casino, the service is much better than any casino in Atlantic City. Slots, Tables, Horses with Poker and more tables on the way, cool place to spend a day! I spoke to one of the managers, there is plans for a hotel and an outdoor arena. I was there last winter and many times list fall, they have improved the ventilation a lot.
Don't go to Parx Casino – First I agree with everybody regarding smoking.
It is terible. After 10 minutes inside the casino, I had to leave.
Second, the casino enploees are not up to their job requirement, as a result the service is sub-standard.
I am talking about the table dealers and their bosses the door security, cleaning staff, etc.
worst casino ever – This place is the worst casino I have ever been to. the only good thing about it is the out side when you walk out side this place i loved it. walking in is a nother story. This is what happened when we walked into this horrible casino. The door men stoped. my friend to card him and that is fine he looks like a little boy however he's not he's going on 26. He hands them his ID this ID is a COUNTY ID and they look all confused claiming they can't use it because they don't know what it is... how is that the staff thats are there to card ppl don't have an idea about more forms of ID then the 3 basic type and did know of something so common. the manager event clamed to never have seen or hurd of a county ID. SAD now this same manager is interigating my frienld like he is a criminal asking him how did he get this, ID what did you do to get it, telling him what he needs to to. there was nothing wrong it says his age and has photo and clearly is a logit id. so then it has nothing to do with his age it was them being a pain in the --- about the ID.. what could he do spend all his money there buy up the bar .....then the manager he tries to get smart and say that they are putting him on a special file and for what becuse they are not properly informed about all aspects of their job and or idntification. this place is very disappointing not to mention the smoking, thrash in the machines just not a good time there. I do not recommend this place to anyone first and last time we will be going there.
Smoking Pit – I cannot understand how Parx casino is allowed to operate under the Indoor Clean Air Act with the excessive amount of smoking and smoking areas that exist in that casino. Everyone is aware of the serious health problems that second-hand smoke poses and yet this casino allows at least 3/'4 or more smoking areas on the casino floor. Even if you could find a smoke-free area, which is quite slim, the ventilation is so bad in that smoke pit that you can't help but smell and breathe in all the excessive smoke.
I know I will never go back and also my family members and friends feel the same way unless something is done to correct this problem. We were only there 15 minutes before we were driven away by all the deadly smoke.
Stay far away from this smokepit – Where do I begin with how bad this place is. First, let me start by saying that my husband and I enjoy video poker and were thrilled to have a place to go so close to home. Well, we'd rather travel to Atlantic City where they at least know how to treat customers. Let me start with my smallest complaint. You could play every day for a month, but you will not get one more dollar of food money other than the $10 or $15 they assign you for the month. So not only do you spend a fortune in the casino, you have to buy your own food despite spending a lot of money in the place. Even The Sands in Bethlehem adjusts your food comps based on your play.
Now for the biggest complaint -- THE SMOKE AND THE SMOKERS. This is one of the most unhealthy environments I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. No designated non-smoking area at all! There are two small banks of "non-smoking" video poker machines and that is it! They are placed at arms length of the smoking area which is essentially the entire casino. The most a non-smoker could be happy about is not having a smoker sitting right next to them blowing in their face. But wait, there are no signs that even designate these pitiful machines as non-smoking. The only way to tell is to practically get a magnifying glass and look at the little circle with a line through the cigarette on the card reader. Smokers sit at the "non-smoking" machine and flick their ashes in the bottom tray of the machines. They give you dirty looks and take their time putting the cigarette out if you have "the nerve" to tell them. The last straw was sitting down and informing a rude and belligerent smoker that he was sitting at a "non-smoking" machine. His response? "So don't smoke" and continued to smoke himself. I complained to staff at the casino (after waiting at least ten minutes to even find someone to complain to -- if you put your assistance light on, nobody ever shows up). First, I got a sympathetic worker who, herself did not smoke and expressed concern for her own health working in this environment. I asked to speak to a "higher" manager about the problem. What I got was an inexperienced woman who knew nothing about customer service. She was impatient and more or less told me that it was impossible for them to police the area for people smoking at "non-smoking" machines. So essentially they want us, the patrons to police the machines for them. I complained about the rudeness I had just experienced from a smoker, as well as the lack of non-smoking signs. She was abrupt, never offered an apology (even if she didn't make the rules, her attitude could have been better). For the amount of time and money I had spent there, I felt as though I were slapped in the face. Parx cares NOTHING about its patrons. All it cares about is taking your money. Most of the machines don't work properly, buttons are never fixed and routinely rob you of hands due to their unpredictability. I hope there are class action lawsuits against these places eventually, that put their clients' health at risk and basically tell you "eff you" should you have the nerve to complain. Non-smokers have absolutely NO rights at Parx.
This casino has no class at any level.
Philadelphia Parx Casino – Why in the world would Parx Casino allow smoking/ I went there a few weeks ago and couldn't even breathe. I will not be going back unless it becomes non-smoking like other businesses and restaurants.
Pony ride, jungle gyms and betting on the horses: What could be more fun than a day at the races? – In Short
Picnic while you play the ponies at the Philadelphia Park Racetrack. In the picnic grove located right along the homestretch, you can sit outside in comfort and watch thoroughbred horses thunder to the finish. For children, the park provides jungle gyms and special weekend attractions, like pony rides and face painting. Live racing is held Saturday through Tuesday, with simulcasts from tracks around the country held daily. And if you forget your picnic basket, the track offers two restaurants for dining.
