Run away quick! – Just to get drinks took 25 min. Then I never got a refill for over an hour after.

Appetizers came at the 40 min mark but we got no plates.

When it came time for our main dishes the server came and told us our meals came faster than she thought and is it ok to bring the mains with the soup and salads?

We said "ok"... Then she never brought our soup and salads out just our mains.

Now about our mains. My son had chicken schnitzel with french fries. We asked for Ketchup 3 times and it never arrived. The chicken schnitzel was WAY over cooked. Deep deep brown almost black and was so dry my son didn't want it (he is NOT a picky eater.)

My wife had the wiener schnitzel and it tasted sour...bad. Maybe they soak the veal in buttermilk? If so its poor quality veal. My Jager Snitchel (chunks of veal in mushroom gravy) was tough. No fork or even butter knife here...needed a steak knife.

The sides were bad except for the cole slaw and the potato pancakes. German Potato salad, cucumber salad, were bad bad.

Finally when it came to desert my son ordered a chocolate peanut butter cake ...they had to come back and tell us they ran out. So he got the Oreo cake substitute was 1/2 dry and half saw dust.

Their menu is now has Mexican food, American food, Cajun food, German food, etc... Strange to say the least.

Not what it used to be – I have been going to Otto's for years and used to enjoy the food as well as the casual atmosphere and friendly service. Recently, the food was not good. I ordered pork and string beans and was told that they were out of string beans but gave me squash was was dry and heated in a microwave. The pork was tasty, but overcooked and dry. I did enjoy my pint of beer but then it's hard to mess that up.
