Expert, Compassionate Help – Care is consistently superb and effective. Dr. Langberg has incredible standards for how she practices, which I have experienced for several years. The office staff are very caring and friendly, putting you completely at ease as you enter the waiting room. Have had limited experience with some on call doctors, esp. Bev Ingelse and Phil Monroe, receiving excellent care from them as well. Dr. Langberg also supervises all the therapists in the practice, ensuring the level of care provided to every client exceeds high standards. Dr. Langberg also expends much energy and time traveling around the world to train other doctors and care givers.
Very Supportive and Effective Therapist – Have had to deal with extremely difficult trauma related issues and have consistently received the best, most professional, yet kind, honest and gentle care a person could imagine. I am very thankful for the help I have received from Dr. Langberg!
Outstanding Therapist – Outstanding care and guidance. Dr. Langberg not only offers her years of expertise, but continues to listen and learn from each person and their unique experience. Her clinical experience and expertise combined with her genuine compassion and tremendous biblical insights have helped me tremendously navigate thru years of abuse as a child and an adult. With her help thru God's grace, I have healed in a way I never dreamed possible. Thank God for a therapist like her who, in spite of national and international recognition and multiple demands for her speaking, remains a humble servant of Christ to the individual person before her.
Excellent Therapy – I came to see Dr. Langberg. She always provided very effective care at an expert level and consistently demonstrated respect and genuine compassion. She is an excellent therapist by all standards with a deep love for Jesus Christ that is so obvious, not only with her words, but by her example. She ALWAYS did what was best for me to help me through the healing process.
Highly recommend – My family has benefited immensely from the care given from Dr. Diane Langberg. God has used her to bring healing in places quite broken and she has always pointed us to the Source of Truth and the One who does the healing, Jesus Christ. As a man, I have had been treated with respect and the respect is quite mutual. Diane has never hesitated to provided extra assistance when needed and I have thanked God often for guiding us to such a competent therapist; one who is passionately in love with her Savior and desires for those in her care to grow in their understanding of and relationship with God. Her clinical methods are very sound, reliable and biblical. Her fees are also quite below the norm for someone as accomplished and in demand.
Found A Place of Refuge! – My experience for the last several years as I work through severe trauma issues is completely the opposite of what one has written in their review. The work is hard and long, but Dr. Langberg CONSISTENTLY goes out of her way to maintain confidentiality and often beyond the "call of duty" to ensure effective treatment and safety in a sincere, compassionate manner - always with the utmost respect and I am neither among the elite or wealthy. To say that this therapist is motivated by money is completely false. I am truly at a loss for words that anyone would make that kind of comment. Dr. Langberg always has my best interest in mind, she is an expert in her field, always ethical in her practice and esteemed highly in both the Christian and secular worlds of psychology.
Wonderful Experience – I have found compassion and truth here. I know some of the reviews are sharp and aggressive but I have been seeing Carol at their offices for a few months weekly or bi-weekly. We all struggle with different issues but the common thread is the overwhelming sensation of being misunderstood and compromised. Not only has Carol relieved me of the guilt I feel going through my issues but has given me practical advice not just pie in the sky theology. I think they are a great mixture of professionalism and care. As far as confidentiality I believe as Christians we are called to live in community and I also believe truth growth comes from others knowing the darkness in your life. We are to claim Christ in our problems and shine light where there has only been darkness.
THERAPY – Dr. Langberg is a wonderful therapist, she is always always looking out for your well being. Dr. Langberg really know's her stuff. Most of all she know's Jesus. She is a professional to the utmost and always honors her boundries and yours. I recommend Dr. Diane Langberg.
Gracious Wisdom and Care – There is a certain faithfulness that comes from walking with others in traumatic darkness for over 30 years. A heart that longs to point others to the One Who can give them their answers that will impact them for all eternity, and a tough-love that comes from obedience to the One Who Holds all our Hope is what is surging from the threshold of hope at 512 West Avenue. They are highly competent as well as absolutely confidential, and much healing and courage walks back into the life of a trauma survivor after sharing and learning from these highly professional servants. That is simply the truth of this former, now healed client. They did not heal me - The Savior Who is the lover of my soul did that work -they simply obeyed, listened, directed and walked alongside during the hardest days of my life!
not a great experience – I agree that Dr. Langberg has much to learn about confidentiality. A little biased, and willing to share her judgements with those she sees as peers, she falls short of maintaining the confidentiality one deserves. However, that appears to be a given in the world of "Christianity" where pastors and "christian" counselors believe that they are not subject to the same rules as the rest of the world.
I think that there is a true concern for other people at the base of her counseling and writings, but that money is the main motivator and it has certainly paid off. So, you may get to beheard, and you may get good advice, or you may get brushed off because os busy schedules or because more important people, with more money than you, need "support".
If you are fortunate enough to be among the elite and the wealthy, you will get respect. If not, save your cash and go have a few drinks. The local bartender usually has all night and a $10.00 tip will keep them listening for hours! Your drinks and a good supportive ear will save you about $100.00 and you'll get someone who is probably more interested in you.
