hey its a nice restaurant.. its the kind of place you would go to on a date to impress.. the place that starts off a nice romantic endevour in the city.. the kind of place that you would bring your mom to on mother's day.
a friendly bar maid and very fresh tasty food.
Food was outstanding, service excellent, and had the most beautiful view of San Francisco Bay Bridge and it's beautiful LED light show! Prices are a little stiff, but worth it for what you get!
Yep sipping a drink at the bar with a crazy amazing view is the way to go with this place. Strong cocktails. The bartender is busy as he makes drinks for the entire restaurant. I liked my experience, funny friendly folks at the bar.
I don't know why everyone is hating. I have a good experience everytime I come here.i always order the calamari as an app and boy is it delicious! I order the clam chowder as an entrée and you cant go wrong. everyone that works here is old but hey their nice, id say its enjoyable
We had dinner here tonight for the first time, I was a little apprehensive of ever coming here after reading all these 1 & 2 star reviews, but I'm glad we came anyway. A lot of reviewers seem to have some kind of aversion to dark wood interiors but I do have to agree that the one-man restroom could use a little remodeling. Food: I actually had the best Shrimp Louie ever - and not just a handful of shrimp, it was LOADED with bay shrimp, with all the good things that a Louie should contain. Cocktails: I had an Old-Fashioned, and it was perfect. Dessert: only had coffee, and it was dark and rich, just the way I like it.. Service: waiters were constantly watching us to see if we needed anything. Yes this place is way overpriced, but I'll still be back to try other things. If other dishes were as good as tonight's, then it's worth it to me. And I heard other diners around me commenting on how delicious their seafood dishes were. And the view alone from our table was AMAZING... literally yards away from a beautifully lit-up Bay Bridge.
Dude: have you sat here by the water and had a beverage with a friend? If not, you should. Good vibes and friendly folk.
I had never heard of this place, and my neighbors brought my partner and I to celebrate our Domestic Partnership. That being said, there was a very positive, care free air about the evening. The food was fine. I had a delicious Salmon & Veggie dish, the waiter was kind and funny, the views are spectacular, and it was a lovely night. I'm not sure why everyone is giving the place so much hate, it's not bad. In fact, it's great. It's not The Slanted Door, and if that's what you want, go there, if you want a nicely prepared American meal, with a fantastic view, in a old school party atmosphere, this is the place.
Sinbad's a wonderful tucked in place very romantic wonderful view awesome service and good eats who cares if the place is a lil out of date I loved the oldies music and the general old ambience people keeping it simple is the best just cause your in s.f dosn't mean you need to eat a at a fancy new restauranc some times the older things should be appreciated and now I found my new spot with a great view and awesome bar too
Not bad, good family memories..... I loved the wait staff.. Food was ok! Prompt service..
