I went into Crossroad Powersports to buy my first motorcycle and was greeted by a friendly salesman. From the time I walked in the front door i was treated like family. They had a wide range of floor models to choose from and were able to help me pick out just the right bike for me. My experience was outstanding and pleasurable. Very Helpful with Riding equipment – First time at the store, looking for a helmet and riding gloves. The sales gentleman was really helpful and took the time to explain all types of helemts they had and their purpose. Since it was the first time buying helemet he helped me pick out the right size, also the help me pick the right size for gloves as well. Their was no pressure into buying anything, just informed me about all their equipment and their purpose. The gentlemen was aslo nice enough to give me info about race tracks to bring your bike to practice.
Found my new parts and service location! – I own a 2003 Yamaha R6 and I am so happy to find out the Crossroad Powersports now carries Yamaha parts. I have been buying parts from other dealers and it's never a pleasant experience. They either don't know what they're talking about or they just order me the wrong things. The Crossroads staff is very knowledgeable and bend over backwards to make sure I'm happy, which is refreshing. I give them 5 stars!!!
"Peteyful" service.... – I have to confirm what another reviewer reported in 2008: this dealer has a serious customer service problem.
You'll notice that the only good reviews here are from first-time buyers. I'd love to see what they write when they bring their bikes in for checks, or, God forbid, for repairs...
Our first bad experience with their abysmal service happened 2 yr ago, after we bought a small Honda scooter from them. As soon as we brought it home, I noticed the engine would die at idle. We asked them to fix the problem 3 times. I knew it was the battery, but each time they refused to change it, blaming carburetor tuning instead. Eventually, I got sick of this back and forth, bought a new battery and never had problems since.
Unfortunately, two weeks ago I had to contact them again, since my other scooter needed repairs. It's a 2003 model, always kept outdoor since we have no garage, but has worked fine until it got a flat tire (rear) 8 months ago. Because of that, it has not been used since then. When I tried to change the tire, I noticed that the front rotor got stuck, so I called them. They picked it up and kept it for over 2 weeks, and I haven't heard from them since. Today, I finally called them, and their service manager Pete harshly remarked he hadn't had any time to check it yet (??), and, when he'll be able to, he'll give me his estimate, but he already knew that there may be so many things wrong with it that it may not be worth repairing!
At this point, I'm going to take my scooter back and go elsewhere.

first timers you goota check this place out – well ive been to a bunch of different dealerships and no one took the time to find me the bike that was right for me. one place even tried to sell me a gsxr1000 for my FIRST bike! The girl Mariel was great she sat me on a 250 and i fell in love. after a little nagotiating i got a awsome price on it and they even delivered it for me cause i was a little shakey. Mariel even took some time to show me a couple of pointers in the parking lot. if your a girl (or a first time rider) dont get pushed into somthing your not ready for. check out the 250 its great!
BEST DEAL I FOUND – I GOT MYSELF A NEW 2009 GSXR1000 AT CROSSROADS. THEY HAD IT $1000 CHEAPER THAN I FOUND IT FOR AT A DIFFERENT DEALER! I BOUGHT IT IS FAST AS HELL AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
DO NOT GO TO CROSSROAD POWERSPORTS for SERVICE! – ok. So i drop my bike off for repair on october 30th. I called service three times every friday, and the service advisor PETE always gives me an attitude and smart remarks everytime i ask him what is the status for my bike. I understand that there are alot of bikes to fix, however, they should atleast call me and let me know whats going on, if they checked it out yet, or if they have to order parts for it. but i DID NOT receive one call from them. When i asked Pete what how much would it be to fix my bike, he told me it varies and depends on how long the technician takes to fix it. So far, they had my bike for over a month! So i have no clue what my bill is going to be when i even get the call that my bike is finished! This places SERVICES are REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! I am a mechanic and i know what service is supposed to be like, I give this place an F- for service! If you want your bike fixed, DO NOT GO TO CROSSROAD POWERSPORTS in Upper Darby PA...
