Quanity not quality – I had the worst pedicure in my lifetime. They used plain water to soak my feet. The lady that started doing my toes could not finish because she had a schedule appt. It was others available to do the pedicure so why would she start it? It was a rush service. I tried of paying money for a service at these salons and it rush, rush, rush. Whatever happen to quality service?

DON'T EXPECT QUALITY - RIP OFF SERVICE – I have been trying to find a great nail place in center city philadelphia but so far in the 19103 zip code no luck. I tried Central Nails on 17th Street, fast, sloppy nails cracked in one day. Tried UV GEL NAILS on 18th Chestnut was told they do all gel there. They did not even know where the special blue light was or how to turn it on. I sat there for 1 hour and 25 mins and was told to come back to fix the next day. I wanted my money back the next day all cracked and very thin. Unbelievable but true. Central Nails charged me $65 dollars plus I even left a tip of $10. I was extremely disappointed and will never go back, never! They just want your money and poor service and I wonder how qualified or certified or even licensed these techs are since they can't even speak English!

How many customers can you serve at once? – I went here for a french manicure even though I usually get them done at Pierre & Carlo. I just wanted to see what a cheaper price would get me. Although it was nice not to have to make an appointment, the technician who was doing my nails continuously answered the phone while working with me and even stopped in the middle to take a walk-in eyebrow wax. I thought it was pretty rude, even though she herself was friendly. I didn't think there was much difference in the way my nails looked at the end, but after only 2 or 3 days the white tips started cracking and the nail polish started showing wear and tear that didn't show up for a week when I went to P&C. I would probably try going back there for regular polish, since maybe that would hold up better than french, but for now I'm going back to the soothing hands of Wilma at P&C.
