curry delight – Great naan.
I thought the variety was similar to that of Sitar. They had lamb, chicken, and fish all very good.
There was a far amount of seating. The atmosphere was nice with classic Indian art, table cloths, and fabric napkins.
Buffet carts of traditional Indian cuisine in a richly adorned environment near the Penn campus. – In Short
Buffet carts offer cold and hot classics. Keep it moving as best you can by proceeding from left to right (salad to meat), then return back to the salad station to dress your curried entree with cooling raita or mild chile and mint sauce. Though the slightly spicy saag paneer (stewed greens and farmer's cheese) is a bit light on the cheese cubes, both the curried vegetables and the rogan josh (lamb cubes in a spicy sauce) are hearty and pungent. For dessert, sample the gulab jamur, warm, egg-shaped dough balls floating in syrup.
Good food, not a large selection – This restaurant was ok. The food was tasty but the buffet was not very big. The selection could have been larger. If you are into crispy pita bread go here. The buffet at dinner was $9.95. The restaurant is small and quite. The vegetarian dishes were the best. The variety was terrible.
