Tourist trap bad – Decided to go for diner Saturday night

it all started with the iced tea that was bad, slime taste

food was ok but the service was not at all just average.

then comes the check and a 20% service charge is included are you kidding, that barely deserved a 15%.

the manager said it was restaurant policy

well then my dear clearly state it on you menu cause our inneficient waitress certainly didnot mention that the gratuity was in the check

i would love to know the percentage of your customers that you're ripping off by double tipping!!

AMAZING Italian food – I decided to meet a friend for dinner in Old City but didnt really know where to go. I asked a co worker if they knew of any good reasonable restaurants in that area. He suggested Pizzicato and I'm so glad he did.

I ordered a pear and walnut salad and the seabass special and both were out of this world. My friend ordered a mushroom pasta dish that smelled of truffles. I was happy to see that there was a good wine list. We ended the night by spliting homemade dessert. Our server was excellent and helped us make up our minds on what to order. What a great night sitting outside with a glass of wine and great food.

Had a nice time! – My husband and I went there for dinner on a Monday night. Overall it was a very good meal. For a Monday night, the place was packed. It seemed a little awkward for people coming in and having to wait for a table as there is no foyer area. The people had to kind of mull around the people already seated at the tables closest to the door. If given a choice, sit further back in the restaurant for this reason.

I had the Carpaccio as an appetizer and my husband had the Mushrooms. Both were very tasty and very nice sized portions. As a main course I had the veal chop and my husband had the Chicken with eggplant. Initially my meal was a problem in that it tasted like someone had put sugar in the mushroom sauce over the veal chop. It was extremely sweet. I brought it to the waitress' attention and they ended up making me a whole new meal. My theory is that people make mistakes, it is how they rectify them that counts. The service was wonderful; our waitress Adriana was very sweet and concerned that she made everything right. She offered us dessert on the house, for which she said she would not take no for an answer. She actually insisted on wrapping it up for us to take with us as we were too full to take her up on her offer. Overall the food was very good and the service was excellent!

No more pizza!! – This restaurant used to be one of my favorite places to eat in the city, especially for a somewhat inexpensive restuarant with outdoor seating right on Market Street. However, after a recent visit there I don't think I will be returning. One of my favorite things was their pizza, and how affordable it was as a meal. Apparently their pizza oven burned down this summer, and they are not sure they are replacing it. That only leaves $20 entrees making it no different than most other restaurants in this area. The salads that we did order for dinner were drowned in dressing making them almost inedible. Additionally, we were quite positive that our wine was actually watered down, as it tasted mostly like water and we ordered glasses of the more expensive wines on the menu.

Below Average – I was overcharged BIG TIME for my meal. To substitute cheese for vegetables on a pizza cost me an extra $8, which I wasn't told until my bill came and I ended-up paying $15 for a $7 pizza. Disgraceful. I will never go back, and being someone who often recommends restaurants to my friends in the suburbs and in town, I will NEVER recommend this place, and will DISCOURAGE anyone from going.

Loyal and loving it! – This is a phenomenal place! I have been here often for both business and pleasure and have never had bad food or bad service. They do everything well here!

From an anniversary celebration for 2 to a holiday party for 25, this is my first choice. The food is excellent and anyone I take there instantly becomes a loyal fan! A jewel in Philadelphia dining!

Excellent Food, Excellent Service – Everything was wonderful. The wine list was incredible, the clamari appetizer is out of this world, the service could not have been better. The server was attentive and polite and pleasant. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious, not a single complaint.
