NEVER AGAIN !!!!!! – I went to Guido's for a Christmas party on dec. 11th . this was my first time at Guido's As we arrived, we tried to check in our coats, we waited 15 mins for the woman to show up to check in our coats. We had a party of 30 people and we only had one server. The waiter was good but overwhelmed..The main complaint was the food was from lukewarm to cold . they came out with the wrong entrees. Then is was time to leave, I gave coat tickets to the woman, guess what? wrong coat. i went in the coat room with other customers, looking for their coats. they were very disorganize. I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN, BAD EXPERIENCE so be warned

It was required i rate guido's, if it was up to me, no stars at all

The worst service ever – The service is horrible my party arrived at 8;00 to still haven't gotten our food at 10;30. the whole restaurant was cleared when we left. I really felt we were discriminated against. we were told guidos is a two hr experience even though we waited over 2 hr not to still recieve our food. the manager is horrible did nothing to apologize and we paid 260 for beverages and a few starter salads. Well over priced. STAY AWAY FROM GUIDOS! They ruined my wedding day.

Excellent Italian Food – I have enjoyed the resturant and lounge at Guido's several times with family and friends. Guido's has great food, a great atmosphere, excellent service, and a great bar area. In 2007 I held our company holiday dinner at Guidos. They put out a great spread and everyone was very impressed.

I highly recommend Guidos for a family dinner or intimate time together.

Still has it – I have been going here for years with family and friends. I have always had great service. I did like the atmosphere of the old restaurant, but it was very tight in there. The new restaurant still is able to provide some of the atmosphere, but it was worth losing some so you can walk to your table without bumping elbows. The food has always been extremely good from the bread to the starters to the main courses to the deserts. I have never heard a complaint from anyone i know who has eaten there until i read some of these reviews. It is pricey, but for the service, quality, and quantity(i left full, plus took home lunch for the next day) you receive, it is well worth it for a special place to take a special person. They even had a gentleman signing, in like Frank Sinatra.

I guess it IS protein.... – I hope you enjoy flies landing on your food--I have eaten here twice and have seen flies in the dining area each time. It can't be THAT hard to keep guests from seeing things like that. Anyway, aside from that, the overall dining experience is not something that I would be willing to pay such high prices for again. I'd rather go to a corner Italian restaurant and get better food for my money. People say their old restaurant was good, but this one certainly leaves much to be desired.

Not worth it – Eat here if you love it when you get some other table's leftovers to take home!!

WAY too pricey for what you get--you can get better food for a lot less money.

This place was much better when they were a corner restaurant with a water-ice stand next door. You actually enjoyed your dining experience instead of feeling like you were there to bulk up someone's bank account and leave. They changed for the worse.

The prior 2 posts are schills. – This place was better when it was a byob. It is way too expensive for the quality of food served. It almost seems like an Italian restaurant trying to be a French restaurant. Everything is covered in some kind of sauce. Sorry, but there are better and cheaper places all over the city. It's time to go back to your roots, Guido's.

Best Kept Secret In The City – Don't let the location or neighborhood fool you. This restaurant resides right within a friendly neighborhood offering what i beleive to be the best Italian food in the city. It's lounge and service is amazing while you wait for your table, but never be fooled always make reservations. They offer extrodinary service which only compliments their atmosphere.

If your looking for a place to take a special person for a great night, this is the spot.

This is definitely not recommended for children!!

Great in an early evening – This is the best Italian restaurant in the city. The food is awesome, and the service is second to none. Quaint setting. The pasta is exquisite, and the seafood is beyond compare.
