Great Food, Bad Service – So this being the second time writing a review in my life, I have to say.......that I'm rather disappointed with this place. To be honest, the food was really good. It would be better if they had my order right when they delivered it. Now I have two orders of fries with no ketchup to go along with it. And at 11:30 pm I'm not sure of any place that is open 24/7 in Philly that I would feel safe traveling to (I'm just a transfer from Kentucky - very new to the area).
To start with, I ordered a flounder on day one with a cheeseburger. They took about 45 min. to an hour to deliver it. And when I wanted to pay for it with my Discover Card, they took my card number and then told me that they don't accept Discover Card (I just gave my whole number over the phone!). When my order arrived I found there was plenty of napkins and plastic-ware. So thats good......I suppose.
The next day I ordered another flounder with fries and ketchup. This time they really messed up. I received my order and found that it came with tartar sauce instead. Not to mention the lack of napkins and only 1 plastic fork. It's not the biggest deal in the world, but I still called them up to inform them of the mistake they had made. Thats when I was told that the tartar sauce comes with the flounder (something that they didn't send me in the first order - strike one). And that they could not send me the ketchup and napkins that I had previously requested because there were no drivers heading out in my direction. They also added the fact that they could not deliver something to me unless I called to order something. This makes my evening dinner rather frustrating.
Imagine that - great food but little or no service. So in total thats 3 strikes for them (the stolen credit card, no ketchup, and the lack of customizing an order to the customer's specifications). That gives this place just 2 Pizzeria Stars out of 5. Be careful.
The best – Best little pizza shop in town. Delivery's are always fast and if you walk in you can get a steak in about 2 minutes. The steaks are not your pats and gino's type but they are true philly style cheesesteaks. And all the platters are homemade and fresh. Don't know how much more I can say without sounding like a cheerleader. So I leave the rest to you guys to form your own opinion. And when you do give your own review here on city search.
