Best Store Ever! – I strongly advise going to this store - I find that the stock is exactly what I look for and (for the most part) is at a very affordable price. When I can get away for a half hour or more from my life I enjoying coming to this place and enjoy all the oddities and selection unhurried or bothered. This is not to say that the owners are no accommodating, since they are knowledgeable and open to discussion, yet they allow you to enjoy the artifacts and furniture at your leisure. They have a great eye and well... it is one of the few stores that I really enjoy going to.
good values here – good values on average to good quality victorian stuff here. not a big selection, but definitely worth checking out if headed to fabric row. the family that owns it is really nice and let me put a deposit on an item and pick it up 2 weeks later, and *shh* didn't charge me tax on what i put down in cash. i got a hard-to-find trunk in great condition for $225 that i've seen selling on ebay for $375 and in adamstown for $1000, and this way i didn't have to worry about shipping. a lot is too musty/gothic for my taste, but there are finds to be had.
