Weird Signage Hides Great Treasure!. This place looks really shady from the outside in large due to the low-brow sign that they have and their name "urban cellar." Don't let that fool you one bit. These guys are amazing and they have a tremendous selection of wines, cordials and beer. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and they give great suggestions. I don't have a chance to visit the store that often but every time I do, I always leave saying to myself "I have got to come back here soon" because it is so great.
Not a liquor store.... Urban Cellars is a very fine wine, liquor and beer shop with a very knowledgeable staff and a selection that is mind blowing. It took me at least five minutes just gazing at their beer selection. Those of you in or around noe valley owe it to yourself to check this place out.
